The re-run and supplementary elections in ‪Abia, ‎Delta, ‎Imo, ‎Kogi‬, ‪‎Taraba and six more states are being held today, April 25, 2015, Saturday. 
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) informs that the 27 supplementary elections are: governorship (3), senatorial district (1), federal constituency (1) and state constituency (22).
In Abia, the supplementary election is between Okezie Ikpeazu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Alex Otti of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). The nine local government areas (LGAs) where the voting will take place include Aba North, Aba South, Osisioma, Ugwunagbo, Umuahia North, Isiala Ngwa North, Obingwa, Ohafia and Ikwuano.
276 polling units are involved in the elections, and 179,224 registered voters are expected to vote.
In Imo the re-run is between Governor Rochas Okorocha (APC) and Emeka Ihedioha (PDP) in 23 LGAs of the state. The April 11 election was declared inconclusive, following mass cancellations in over 250 polling units.
Today, 256 polling units with 144,715 registered voters will be involved in the elections.
Meanwhile, all eyes will be on Taraba, as Senator Aisha Alhassan (APC) still has a chance to beat the PDP candidate, Darius Ishaku, and become the first ever female governor in Nigeria. According to the INEC, 159 polling units are involved in the elections, and 127,125 registered voters are expected to cast their vote in 10 LGAs: Bali, Zing, Takum, Yorro, Donga, Wukari, Ussa, Karim Lamido, Kurmi and Jalingo.
Senatorial district, state and federal constituency elections will take place in Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Ekiti, Gombe, Kogi and Niger.
Beefed up security in the areas where voting will take place is expected in order to enforce a restriction of vehicular movements in and out of the areas where the re-run elections are to take place from 8:00 to 17:00.
Accreditation of voters is expected to run from 8:00 to 13:00. Voting starts at 13:30, till the last person in the queue votes.

15:03 First reports from across the nation say that voting has ended in several areas. For example, counting has started in PU 15, Ward 13, Osisioma LGA, Imo.
At the same time, the turnout is expected to be low. In many areas the difference between the number of registered voters and the number of voters accredited for voting is 50-90%.

14:25 Attempts to bribe the voters registered in Delta state. The agents of an unnamed party offered N500 per vote at Ward 6, Ofuoma Community, Ughelli North LGA.

14:20 Five armed men were caught by the military at polling unit 10 Alaoji Hall, ward 8, Ugwunagbo LGA, Abia, trying to steal the ballot box and electoral materials, @SituationRoom reports.

14:00 Accreditation is over in the majority of polling units. The voters are getting ready to put their thumb prints.

13:36 A party agent, Bernard Nwokoro was shot at PU 008, Ozuh-Omuna Ward, Oru East, Imo. Ballot box also hijacked.

13:33 About 20 people have been arrested while thumb printing ballot papers in a location at Oru East LGA of Imo State.
