Nollywood film producer, writer and actor, known for his open criticisms, has lambasted some famous stars in Nigeria, calling them people with second class mentality.
Charles Novia berated entertainment stars who got themselves involved in the trending ASL Ice Bucket Challenge Challenge, saying it is only inferiority complex and the eagerness to follow suit in the way of western celebrities that made the likes of  Mavin boss, Don Jazzy, Nollywood Diva, Genevieve Nnaji, Project Fame revelation, Iyanya, sensation half of singing duo, Psquare, Peter Okoye among others to have joined the Ice Bucket Challenge.

However, videos going around have shown many Nigerian celebrities being involved in the #icebucketchallenge which has raised more than $22.9 million. Charles Novia, who is unhappy over the Nigerian celebs joining in the ice bucket challenge took to twitter, a social network site to make it known that there are many other diseases killing people in their scores in Nigeria, especially the Ebola Virus that the country has been battling with since the delibrate entrance of the Liberian-American, who had the virus. The ASL Ice Bucket challenge went viral during the Northern Hemisphere summer of 2014, in order to raise awareness and  money for research into ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a form of motor neurone disease)  in the UK to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and Macmillan Cancer Support.
This is done by pouring ice on an individual who in turn nominate one or two other persons that must be dopped with ice in the next 24 hours. Anyone who does not want to be poured the ice cold bucket of water will have no other choice but to donate greatly towards the cause.
It would be recalled that just recently, the film producer advised Davido and Wizkid to stop their recent beef, saying they should act their ages.
