Chelsea Clinton is the latest celebrity to be surrounded by a paternity scandal. Perhaps thanks (in part) to her mother's decision to run for office, Chelsea has found her name in the tabloids, sources claiming that she's not actually Bill Clinton's daughter. According to the National Enquirer, Hillary Clinton had an affair with her former law partner, Webb Hubbell, and there is a good possibility that he is Chelsea's dad according to some new information.
According to the report, "Touch DNA" samples from both Chelsea and Webb were sent out to a "nationally recognized laboratory" for testing. The Enquirer was informed that the tests were "inconclusive," but that "does not discount the possibility" that Chelsea's real dad is Webb Hubbell.
And, in case you were wondering, "Touch DNA" is a real thing. According to Scientific American, "Touch DNA" was used to clear JonBenet Ramsey's parents in her murder case.

"The touch DNA method—named for the fact that it analyzes skin cells left behind when assailants touch victims, weapons or something else at a crime scene—has been around for the last five years."

This isn't the first time that Chelsea Clinton's biological father has been in question, either. In 2014, the Enquirer also reported that Bill Clinton confided the news that he wasn't Chelsea's real dad to a "close pal."
According to the Chicago Sun Times, that rumor was put out by the Enquirer on June 30, 2014, almost one year ago to the day that the tabloid published this "updated" information. And while a lot of people think that Chelsea looks like the former president, there are a lot of people who think she looks just like Hubbell. As the Chicago Sun Times points out, a simple Google search of "Chelsea Clinton Webster Hubble" will afford you some side-by-side images of the two for comparing purposes.
If Chelsea Clinton wasn't Bill Clinton's daughter, and that was actually proven to be true, it could really hurt Hillary Clinton's chances for obtaining the Democratic nomination for president. However, chances are nothing will come of these rumors, and the Clinton's will remain a family of one affair.
