Last week, Maje Ayida took to the social media to tender a public apology to his wife, popular Rythym FM On Air Personality (OAP), Toke Makinwa for impregnating his ex-girlfriend, Anita Solomon.
But rather than comment over the apology tendered, Toke has carried on as if nothing has happened.
No doubt about it, Anita Solomon’s pregnancy has brought some hitches to Toke Makinwa and Maje Ayida’s marriage as both seems to be maintaining quite a distance from each other.
Toke Makinwa and Hubby, Maje Ayida
Anita Solomon delivered a baby boy for Maje Ayida in the United Kingdom on Sunday July 19, 2015.
According to to those who should know, the birth of his son on July 19 prompted Maje to apologise to Toke on Wednesday July 22, 2015.
Toke Makinwa who has so far handled the scandal quite graciously has refused to acknowledge her husband’s apology even after week of its being tendered.
Yesterday, Maje posted a photo on his Instagram page and many believed it is a response to Toke’s ignoring his apology. See the photo below:

Toke, on her part has gone ahead with her weekly Vlog, TokeMoments.

In this week’s edition which came up barely two hours after Maje’s maybe response to her cold shoulder, Toke talked about ‘Invest In You’.
Watch it below:

Toke Makinwa and her husband, Maje Ayida’s one-year-old marriage experienced a storm when the news of  her husband impregnating his ex-girlfriend whom he had dated for eight years before marrying Makinwa.
Ever since the news broke, the centre of their marriage have not hold.

Nigeria’s Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi, has cleared the air on speculations surrounding his future at the Stamford Bridge.
The former Lyn Oslo of Norway midfield trojan, who has been at the London club since 2006, who spoke to Chelseafc.com, explained that he has come to see “The Blues” as his home, and has no intention of quitting the club just yet.
Mikel, who is in his 10th pre-season at Chelsea, is now officially the second-longest serving player at Stamford Bridge, after captain John Terry.
Mikel Obi. sitting in front of the his mansion, is not likely to leave Chelsea this season

Reports say the Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, has noted on this pre-season trip, that the pair (Mikel and Terry), are now the only players who bridge the gap between his trophy-laden first and second spells as Chelsea manager and acknowledges that having a serial winner like Mikel around the group can only be beneficial.
“I want to stay and the manager wants me to stay,” Mikel said, adding: “I’ve got two years [on my contract] here and I’m happy.”
“I like to be somewhere where I have developed friends and family. It’s like my family here and every day I come to work it is like coming in to see my family. I know all the players and all the staff so it’s going to be a hard place to leave when my contract runs out but let’s see what happens. I want to see out my two years.”
Chelseafc.com further explains that the 2013 Africa Cup of Nation with Nigeria, played the first half of the club’s match with New York Red Bulls on Wednesday, leaving the pitch at the break with the Blues 1-0 ahead.
He was said to have created an excellent chance for a second with a fine long pass which was latched on to by his compatriot Victor Moses who was mighty unlucky not to score with a dink that hit the post and not the net.
“Overall it was a pretty good warm-up game but not the result we hoped for,” Mikel said after the game.
“We knew we needed to start the game well. I was in the dressing room having a shower at the beginning of the second half so I don’t know how we started but we obviously didn’t end the game well.
“We are here to work hard, and we are here to train hard leading to the Community Shield and to the league. I think we’re on the right course. That game was just a one-off game and we know we need to go back to training, buckle up and know the season is starting soon,” he added.
Mourinho legend.

John Mikel Obi, at a time, dazzled football lovers with skills and humility.
Mikel and Olga

“Please come back, our dear Mikel Obi”

It all started so well

Surely, Mikel Obi’s girlfriend, Olga, would have her eyes popped out at the headline. Seriously, this is all about his dwindling career. Mikel was that young lad, a delight of the nation, when at the age of 12, he made it as a talented player to the prestigious Pepsi Football Academy.

He dazzled us with skills and humility, soon enough, big clubs had to battle for his signature. He was prematurely unveiled by Manchester United before being gazumped by Chelsea. Indeed, it was a war between the English football mighty. Mikel was that superb.
Ten years after winning medals with Lionel Messi in the same tournament under different categories, he has not really progressed as Messi has done.
So far, as a Chelsea player, he has not done so well for his career but done superbly well for his bank accounts.

What went wrong?

Truth be told, he has not been productive, his presence has not been felt at club and country. Till date, he is the biggest name and biggest player in the current squad of the Super Eagles. Unfortunately, he is one of the less productive players with minimal impact or contribution to the team. I wonder what went wrong.
Jose Mourinho recently showed his confidence in Mikel and insisted he will not be leaving. Great news! He is staying back at Chelsea under Jose Mourinho! Every player wants to play under a great coach like him.
However, he was linked with a move to Fenerbahçe, and another team in Dubai, so you mean no club in the EPL wants to buy Mikel? That’s an indictment of his regression.
As a prospective Super Eagles captain, his leadership skills leave a lot to be desired.
Another Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu, once said in an interview that he was inspired by Mikel. No doubt, Ogu might be one of many others, but how long has he carried on inspiring? Which of the upcoming players want to watch his video to learn, backpass or overlap? Judging by his recent contributions to club and country.
Mikel was suspended in 2007 by Berti Vogts and after apologies he was seen as deemed fit to adorn the green-and-white jersey. This same player won the man of the match against Iran at the 2014 FIFA world cup in Brazil.
Mikel has won the English Premiership twice, FA Cup four times, UEFA, African Cup of Nations, amongst others, but can he be proud of his personal contributions to these medals after his retirement?
Not forgetting he plays different roles for Nigeria and Chelsea, maybe he will be better served by playing for a team that can utilize and use him in a position where he is best at, which is attacking midfield. Hanging around at Chelsea is not necessarily good for his own career progression or any positive impact he might make in the Nigerian team.

Is it time to get back to basics?

He seems to have lost his zeal or mojo, maybe because of the financial reward he is priviledged to be making at Chelsea which is synonymous with other players. He needs to rediscover what got him to this stage in the first place.
With the generation of new midfielders joining Chelsea, and being one of the oldest Chelsea players, he should be celebrated in the team. Coming home now, can Oliseh build his midfield around Mikel? Can we say he is the next in line to become the Super Eagles captain?
It seems Chelsea can’t wait to sell him off, even this past premier league season he didn’t appear much. Isn’t he worried himself? He is dispensable to Chelsea and looking like a matter of ‘for now,’ and I am truly concerned about where he will end up in August.
Moreover, he is yet to be allocated a squad number for the upcoming season in Chelsea. Anything is still possible before the transfer window closes.
Victor Moses, we know for sure, will be staying at Chelsea as he has gotten his squad number.

Mikel should still be on top of his career at age 28. My advise: he should get back his zeal and desire to be the best.  It is never too late for him to work harder. The potential is still there, he can still make more powerful effect in the team.
Nigerians are looking forward to him performing to the best of his abilities which can be better than recent years.
Gerrard at age 35 is still doing well, I picture another ten years of active football career for Mikel if he wants it. He is certainly too skillful to be bench-warming.
It is never too late. Mikel Obi should get back in the groove of enjoying his football, start working hard, look back and search for where he has gone wrong and make amends.
We miss him. Nigerians missed his on-field skills.
Get back to basics.

Enigmatic Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has addressed Nigeria midfielder Mikel Obi chances of wearing the club’s captain armband in the upcoming season.
Jose Mourinho
According to Mourinho, Mikel has what it takes to become captain of the club someday.
The Chelsea manager made this address in a question and answer session with reporters where he touched on different issues, Telegraph.co.uk reports.
He said: “Mikel is, after John (Terry), the guy with most years of Chelsea. I think (Cesc) Fabregas has personality for a captain too. Eden is coming with big status now and was voted one of the top ten players in Europe last year. In my opinion he should be in the top three not in the top ten.
“Let’s see what is going to happen but we have these people. But let’s say John and Branislav are our captains and the others are ready to come.”
Speaking further at the press briefing, Mourinho said that Eden Hazard had a better season last year than Cristiano Ronaldo
According to Mourinhio, Real Madrid’s failure to win any major trophies despite Ronaldo’s 61 goals in all competitions last season makes the Portuguese world’s No. 3 behind Messi and Hazard.
Mourinho said: “Ronaldo scored an incredible number of goals. I am not saying he is not fantastic. I am just saying that, in my personal view, every football player in the world should understand that a team has to be in front and no titles [are important].”
Hazard or Ronaldo may be debatable, but to Mourinho there’s no doubt that Messi remains No. 1.
He added: “Football without titles is nothing. Messi won the treble. He won three competitions last year, he reached the Copa America final. He had a fantastic season for him and for his team.”

Mourinho heaping praise on Hazard said: “He is not afraid to take responsibility.
“He is not afraid to get the team from a dark situation and bring blue sky again for the team. He is not afraid of this. He is a guy with great discipline. He is not the kind of guy you see setting bad examples and so on. So I think he can [lead].
“His ambition is coming, he is also the vice-captain of the Belgian national team. He has four seasons at Chelsea, so he didn’t arrive yesterday.
“I think he is in this group. Eden, [Cesc] Fabregas, [Gary] Cahill are in this group behind the captains.”
And Mourinho said Hazard will only get better as he gets older — as long as Chelsea keep winning trophies.
He said: “To repeat these trophies, I believe he has go to better, because the normal tendency is for people to find another star; to find somebody new to get these individual trophies.
“But he has all the conditions to improve. With his age he can improve.”
Jose Mourinho also accused Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger of buying his way into contention for the Premier League title. According to him, Wenger will have no excuse if the Gunners fail to land a first title in 11 years, given the amount of money he has been spending on new players.
He said: “If you add up the amounts clubs have spent in the last three or four years I think maybe you will find a surprise.
“If you put Ozil plus Alexis Sanchez, plus Chambers, plus Debuchy, you will find a surprise.
“It’s a fantastic squad with good players, fantastic goalkeeper, they are more than ready to be title contenders.

“Get a calculator. That is the easiest thing, it leaves no space for speculation. If you want to be honest, objective and pragmatic it is the easiest job for a manager to do.”
Mourinho also had time for little games as he ensured his players trained with smiles on their faces in Montreal on Monday, July 27.
He arranged a prank to catch out members of club staff.
Mourinho asked those taking part, including Chelsea TV presenter Lee Parker, to pretend they were on an aeroplane after making them sit in formation and put their hands on imaginary controls and after conducting the direction of the invisible aeroplane and making the staff – and Terry – lean from side to side, Mourinho then gave the signal for buckets of icy water to be thrown all over his unsuspecting victims.
Terry and Chelsea staff pranked by coach Jose Mourinho
Meanwhile,

The Chelsea forward Victor Moses continued his goals scoring spree for his club as he netted an excellent penalty shoot-out at the team’s pre-season game against Barcelona.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw.
Moses who earlier scored a goal against PSG during the pre-season tour has earned a jersey from Chelsea which gives assurance of his stay at the Stamford Bridge in the upcoming league season.
The player who recently returned from a loan spell at Stoke City gave the Barcelona defenders a tough time with several runs and crosses via his famed left wing.

Moses put Chelsea 2-1 ahead of Barcelona with his fine penalty before they equalized.
So far, Nigeria duo, Victor Moses and Mikel Obi have featured in all the three gamed that has been played by Chelsea at the ongoing pre-season tour in Washington DC.
Meanwhile,
Nigerian dancehall star, Cynthia Morgan is making waves in the music industry as one of the hottest female acts right now.
Hits like German Juice, Lead Me On, Come and Do and Don’t Break My Heart, have made her one of the most sought after singers in the industry.
Apart from her dancehall skills, Cynthia is known for flaunting her curves – in inviting poses and barely-there clothes – in her music videos and on stage.

Cynthia, who is signed to Jude Okoye’s Northwest Music Inc, is however unapologetic about how well her sex appeal has worked for her.
In an interview with City People, she said; ‘It is inbuilt, I didn’t go anywhere to learn, it is the whole package that comes with a talented person. If you are ready for the industry, you must have a total package. ‘Aside from music, a lot want to see you perform, they want to see the sex appeal, and you have to be believable, it is inbuilt talent and craft in me and that is my selling point.’
In June, the singer , calling them names and vowed never to date anyone in the industry.
Women will always say they want a God fearing man and to have a relationship with a man who is strong and knows all they want and need.Dating a sensitive guy is a completely different experience than being with a rugged outdoor man. Here is a list of reasons why sensitive men make the best husbands.
1. They are good listeners: Every sensitive man listens more when his woman talks. He calms her down when she is angry and understands every of her facial expression.

2. Good in bed: Sensitive men take their time in bed with their wives to get her to the peak of her sensations. They need to be reassured that you are comfortable with them and like to spend the extra time. Sharing feelings in a relationship is never a problem—keeping your walls up is.
3. Security is everything: Sensitive men can be some of the most insecure men you may meet. At times, this can be an endearing quality. It means that they are more likely to spend time with you and listen to what you say. You need to let him know how you feel and ensure that he feels secure.
4.He is patient: Sensitive men may need a bit of time before they can really open up. Although they may be willing to express all of their feelings at once, there is also a chance that it will take them a while to come out of their shell. When they are out, you have them all to yourself.

5. Strong morals and principles: All signs that he’s sensitive, disregard inequity and injustice, and have a more open mind than you might think. He respects your rights as a woman.
6. Appreciative: Sensitive men remember your birthday, they want to please you in bed, and they care what you think and feel. Most of all they say; thank you, please and Love yo

Nigerians have spotted some differences in photographs between President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to Cameroon and that of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Presidents Paul Biya And Muhammadu Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari arrived Yaoundé, the Cameroonian capital yesterday July 29 to hold crucial talks with his Cameroon counterpart, President Paul Biya on the way forward in putting to an end to Boko Haram insurgency.
Boko Haram has intensified campaign targeting Cameroon, Niger, Chad who have formed a multinational force to tackle terrorism.
It was gathered that Cameroonian authority beefed up security 24 hours for Buhari’s visit after Boko Haram sects had conducted several suicide bomb attacks in the country.
See the comparison below:
Meanwhile President Buhari, has  if they are ready to lay down their arms so that peace can reign

Davido is not the average 22-year-old. He is a super star artiste, heir to a billionaire father and a ladies’ man on many levels.
Following his twitter rants on July 28, wherein he downplayed reports of a likely reunion with his 19-year-old Guinean ex, Sira Kante, we have compiled a list of interesting facts about the ‘Back When’ singer and the women in his world as we know.
Sometime in May 2015, reports got around that the singer had fathered a baby by Sophie Momodu, but his camp put out a statement writing off any such thing.
We should do well to remember that with Sophie also called Belladona, it makes it at least four women we’ve seen around the man in his very short span so far as a celebrity, but most of these affairs have been denied at various points.
Speaking to TheNET.ng in May, David refuted claims of his new status as ‘father’.
‘Bloggers are just confused, Davido doesn’t have a child yet, his sister is still pregnant too. Davido simply put up a baby’s hand to signify a new beginning and it’s causing wahala’, his aide said in the chat.

Recall that in February 2012, pictures of Davido in bed with a certain Sonia Jumbo leaked and stirred major conversations across social media. Sonia, an 18-year-old undergraduate in a Ghanaian university at the time, met up with the Pop singer and his team at a gig and the rest is history.
There have also been repeated, though largely unconfirmed, reports linking him and a certain Staicey Brianar in a sexual relationship.
Staicey, also called Pendo, reportedly hooked up with self-titled Omo Baba Olowo at Kenyan night club, Galileo, in 2013.
‘He was perfect. He is much better than your ‘average Kenyan’. He is big. Both length and width and best part is, he really knows what he is working with. He has crazy moves; he kept it fresh for a couple hours. I am impressed. Definitely the best, ok maybe not the best I ever had, but he is up there,’ Staicey told Kenyan blog, African Eagle, after the romp.
Anyways, Davido has admitted paternity of the new born Imade from Abuja-based Belladona. He was at the baby shower in May, 2015.
He also recently copped a pair of custom-made Nike sneakers for baby Imade Adeleke, a gift he shared on social media on July 29. He looks to be easing into the new role smoothly. And it’s been pleasant his joining the league of daddies in Nigeria’s music circle.
What isn’t so pleasing is his recent denial of still being in a romantic affair with Sira Kante, not after we caught a glimpse of her with the OBO’s customized gold chain on Instagram.
Sira through her account (inkmyafrica) had put up an image of her with the chain on, and David via his davidoofficial account ‘liking’ it only a few minutes after on Sunday, July 26.
And so it’s quite disturbing this revelation, especially with David taking to Twitter to counter this.
He wrote; ‘Awon oniranu….rumour carrier.. Only Woman in my life right now is my daughter so blogs stop talking sh*t’ a few days ago, July 28 to be exact, taking the suspense surrounding him and Sira to new heights.
Differences between men and women is apparently an inexhaustible topic for discussion. Males are from Mars and females are from Venus, they even say.
Needless to say, both planets often experience massive shakes when they collide. Famous writers, composers, producers, movie directors have been creating pieces about how the “aliens” can understand each other. Still, it seems like the most beautiful thing about their romance is that subtle mystery which, despite all the differences, turns into love.

Today we are taking a sneaky peek at the world of Nigerian men who share their feeling about the first dates with Nigerian women…
Success is about money.
Some girls are obsessed with marriage, and it is quite noticeable.
Lol. How true?
Interesting. Looks like a good piece of advice for serious girls.

And some more about money.
And then about sex.
And about her natural beauty.

Songstress, Mo’cheddah has released the visuals for her latest duet with YBNL boss, Olamide titled ‘Bad’.The song has been enjoying airplay since the release of its audio and now the official video is out.  This video was shot on location in Apapa, with rustic scenes and the energetic spark that Mo’cheddah introduces to her dynamic style. Baddo complemented her efforts with his street tunes and a fusion of art and sound.

The video was directed by Clarence Peters for Capital Dreams Pictures.

D’Banj is widening his brand outside music, the Kokomaster planned to launch a number of products under his Koko brand name at some point but he seemed to cool the pace when fans were looking out for the products.
However, D’Banj is ready to break new grounds with his Koko garri brand a product known to many. The singer made his seriousness about promoting the brand known in an emotional piece on Instagram.

He slammed Nigerians for placing much attention of imported products and failed to support their own insisting many of the products we embrace and cherish in the country are foreign products.
He then hinted that, he will kick off a Kokogarri competition where the winner will have a chance to represent the brand and get a start up capital for the Koko garri business.
He wrote;
Guys, KokoGarri is available on Konga & in Ebeano Stores!
Who owns Ciroc vodka? Who owns Beats headphones? Who own RocknRepublic? The list goes on. What we do in Nigeria is to laugh at people’s hustle. And when it starts paying, creating jobs and moving the person to the next level, we are quick to ask why is the person living so large? Does he know how many people are hustling and going to bed hungry? But we don’t consider the person’s hustle in the beginning worthy of support. I am a strong Supporter of Nigerian Brands. How many politicians bought this Koko Garri to give their supporters? But they gave imported rice abi? When Otunba Ghadaffi started his mobile toilets, people called him “Agbe po!!!” It wasn’t for long, others joined DMT to do what he was laughed at. I know that a few think what’s DBanj thinking to invest in Garri. Newsflash!!!! I bet you all that is a $30b market. KOKOGARRI to be promoted & distributed in hotels and restaurants. Wherever beans and moi-moi is served, there should be packs of Koko Garri as options to pap, dodo and yam. Trust me, you will see how it will grow. I think there should be a Garri soaking competition sef. The hamburger competitions we see on television don’t even have as much entertainment value… Round 1, Koko Garri and groundnuts,
Round 2, Koko Garri and coconut,
Round 3 Koko and Kilishi… Powered by Eva Water and Dangote sugar… Winner gets a Koko Garri distribution vehicle and a start up store

A humble beginning it was, a humble beginning he narrates. It wasn’t so rosy for Olamide the YBNL boss it was a rough path to stardom for him.
Despite becoming a big star in Nigeria, the hustling spirit is still spelt out in Daddy Miliano as he never relents from churning out hits upon hits without letting the previous ones fade out. This assumption is well explained in his last three tracks.

While Shakiti Bobo was still making fans go gaga, he released Melo Melo still trying to familiarize with Melo Melo, Lagos Boys follow suit. Real hustle it is for Baddo.
In the Quest to support #TheDanceCamp movement an initiation put in place by Nigerian dance queen, Kaffy, Olamide put up a picture on Instagram with a short biography-like caption. The singer spoke about how tough the journey was growing up in Bariga a suburban in Lagos and becoming the YBNL boss.
Two days ago, Olamide supported the struggle of his colleague in the industry,

A Nigerian student, Victor Olalusi, has reportedly scored 5.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) at the Russian National Research Medical University, Moscow, a world record.
This piece of information was made available by the federal ministry of education on Wednesday in Abuja, when it honoured the young doctor, who achieved the feat in 2013, arguably the first in the world.
Young Dr Victor Olalusi shattered any existing record in Russia with his 5.0 CGPA score
PM News reports that Olalusi, who was the best graduating student in the whole of the Russian Federation in 2013, studied in RNRMU under the Russia-Nigeria Bilateral Education Agreement when he achieved the enviable feat.
Dr MacJohn Nwaobiala, permanent secretary in the ministry, said a lot of Nigerian students were brilliant but Olalusi was a genius and had become an ambassador not only to the ministry but to Nigeria and Russia.
He said: “We have to search the Guinness Book of Records for anybody who has achieved 5.0 in a university. It is curious and strange that all those that evaluated his performance could not find reason to reduce a point from him.
“You should be the ambassador of the Federal Scholarship Board, Ministry of Education, Nigeria and the Russian Federation.
“I look forward to the day you will stand before the President to receive your honour. We have recommendations to that effect.”

Olalusi was also urged to continue in his responsibility as a role model to young Nigerians and to explore opportunities in postgraduate research.
Mrs Ifeoma Agunwa, the director of the Federal Scholarship Board, while addressing the audience during the event, noted that Olalusi made 5.0 GPA in all the courses he took in the seven years he studied medicine in Russia.
“Olalusi never had a 4.99 GPA. Even in the Russian language class, he did not fall below 5.0,” she explained.
The representative of the Russian Embassy in Nigeria, Mr Artem Romanov, agreed also, that Olalusi’s feat was very significant for everybody in Russia and commended Nigerians for having much potential in Russia.
According to him: “Nigeria is blessed with abundant human potential which is officially acknowledged in Russia.
“It has been acknowledged in the Russian Ministry of Education that Nigerians have a lot of exceptional talents. Genetically, Nigerians grasp knowledge easily.
“Olalusi is a hardworking person. It is not easy to achieve such in Russia; it goes with talent and hard work.
“I urge you to engage your knowledge in the development of your father land.”
