The event which is set to hold on the 6th and 7th of March 2015 will be held at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
Responding to a question on whether the award ceremony will be moved to another country in the nearest future since it has always been held in Lagos, Nigeria, Mba-Uzoukwu said the the venue of the award ceremony will remain in Lagos, because Nollywood remains the “cradle of the African film industry.”
She also disclosed that voting is going on and the response and participation of the public has been very encouraging. She assured the public of the credibility of the voting process saying the votes are been verified by a world class auditing firm.

The AMVCA which is fast becoming the number 1 African film awards is sponsored by Amstel Malta, MTN, Pay Porte, Unilever, Hyundai and Maybelline
It will be recalled that the list of nominees for the third edition of the AMVCA were revealed recently.
