Sir Alex Ferguson, a former coach of Manchester United has commended the appointment of Jurgen Klopp as the manager of Liverpool FC.

Alex Ferguson said that it is a good move by the club because Klopp is a Coach that he adore and have so much trust in: “Well it’s a good appointment. I admire him. I know Jurgen pretty well through our meetings at [FIFA] coaches’ classes in Geneva.”
 
“Strong personality, very strong, very stubborn, determined and his performances, and his career at Dortmund was a stellar rise to the top and I think he’ll do very well.I don’t like saying that, being Liverpool, because I’m worried about it but, no, he’ll do well,” he added.
 
Klopp has led Mainz 05 and Borussia to play 588 games with 288 wins, 147 draws and 153 loses in his professional career as a coach.  He also won two awards which are, German football Manager of the Year in the year 2011 and 2012, and also FIFA World Coach of the Year – Second Place in the year 2013.
The the former Borussia Dortmund manager was by Liverpool on October 8, 2015 to replace the axed Coach of the team, Brendan Rodgers.
“I am very excited by the challenge we face and eager to start the job and begin implementing our ideas and ways of working with this team. This is a talented group of players and there is still much to compete for this season,” Klopp says.
The German has signed a three-year-deal with the Reds.
