In a tweet by Defence HQ Nigeria, it announced the recapture of Baga from Boko Haram militants.
It would be recalled that Baga town was captured by Boko Haram militants in January 2015. This was a few days after the Multi-national troops withdrew from army barracks of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF).
