According to Pulse, the movies will start screening at the festival from Sunday, November 8 to Sunday, November 15, at City Mall, Silverbird and Genesis Deluxe Cinemas.
Apart from Genevieve’s movie, others that would be screened include Akin Omotosho’s Tell Me Something Sweet, Desmond Elliot’s Reflections and Yared Zeleke’s Lamb.

AFRIFF artistic director Keith Shiri said the movies were selected based on their African cinematic story telling.
He said “The selection in this edition is not only celebrating African cinema but demonstrates once more that the cinematic story telling industry in Africa has become more compelling and visible.”
Road to Yesterday. which stars Genevieve Nnaji and newcomer Ohis Erheuro will premiere Wednesday, November 18, in Lagos. Fans on Tuesday were teased with stills of a steamy bathroom scene.
