Muhammadu Buhari, the presidential candidate of the
All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged the winner of the March 28
presidential elections.
Buhari has been receiving congratulatory messages both from members of the APC and from those of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
President Goodluck Jonathan, his main opponent, was among the first people to congratulate him even before the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared him the winner.
Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has now joined the list of those who have congratulated Buhari on his victory.

She took to social media to express joy that she did not sell her votes and choice. She is also happy that she won a bet of 7million naira on the president-elect, Buhari.
Those
who have congratulated Buhari are Gov Fayose of Ekiti state, the Edo
state governor, Adams Oshiomhole, the former vice president and APC
presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar and others.
In his congratulatory message, General Ibrahim Babangida, Nigeria’s former military president, congratulated Buhari and described the APC victory as a deserved one.
The Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomhole declared April 1, Wednesday, a public holiday, in the state to celebrate Buhari’s victory.
