Thief Stripped Naked, Harshly Whipped With Belt

A thief was stripped naked and thrashed with a belt by two elderly women after being caught by locals nabbing a Toyota car wing mirror, Huancayo in central Peru.

The beaten and humiliated criminal is reported to be Alexis Rodriguez, 24. A police spokesmancommenting on the incident said: “Officers arrived in time to save the man from further embarrassment and we are investigating.” Rodriguez was arrested for theft and police are currently investigating his attackers.

After the video was uploaded to social media, one user, Hernando Calvo, posted: “This is just disgraceful.We live in the 21st century and yet these people behave like they are in the middle ages.” Another user,  Enrique Benel wrote: “For Christ’s sake, it was a wing mirror. JUST A WING MIRROR!!
