The late adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on
Research, Documentation and Strategy, Oronto Douglas was lain to rest on
May 2.

The
burial ceremony kicked off at 9:00am with a Valedictory Session by the
Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) at the Chief Judges’ Court in Yenagoa,
the state capital.

The funeral service followed at the Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre, also in Yenagoa at 10.30am.
Douglas’
remains was laid to rest at 2.30pm in the premises of St Mark’s
Anglican Church at Okoroba in the Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa
