An Arik Air plane from Jos broke down after landing safely in Kaduna on Friday, leaving 136 passengers and seven crew members stranded at the airport, sources said.
The Boeing 737 with registration number 5N-MJC landed safely in Kaduna at 6:23 p.m. but at 7:13 p.m., the pilot declared technical fault.
The plane was meant to continue its journey to Lagos but as at 9:00 pm, the passengers remained stranded at the Kaduna airport.
Unconfirmed report said Arik Air was about sending another plane to bring the passengers to Lagos.
