Omoni Oboli Denies Confessing To Have Slept With Gov Emmanuel Uduaghan – Omoni Oboli, Nollywood actor and film producer has denied the reports that she ever confessed to have slept with Delta state Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan during a recent interview.According to reports, Omoni Oboli said she had an affair with Gov. Uduaghan some months.
It was also said that Omoni Oboli and Gilda Amata, who is also a filmmaker and wife to Ruke Amata, were among those who messed themselves up with Gov Uduaghan months ago.
Omoni Oboli speaking on this issue said that she never confessed any such thing, adding that her lawyers were already working on the issue, to tackle the defamation of character.
Omoni Oboli’s publicist, Samuel Olatunji, said the story of her alleged confession was false and nothing to write home about.
He said: “Why would someone in his or her right senses write something of such about a married woman? Moreso, that these stories are nothing but unfounded lies. She’s happily married for God’s sake! Anyway, I noticed that the owner of the website has pulled the story back from circulation.”
Omoni Oboli is a married woman, who used to be so respected amongst other married women in the movie industry, until she shocked her fans some few months back, by wearing a dress that exposed vitals that should be covered and meant for her husband’s eyes only, to her movie premiere in Abuja. As a matter of fact, Omoni Oboli was even more respected than Omotola Jalade and some other female married celebrities.
Many of her fans who praised her before now for her decency could not come to terms with the fact that she could afford to step out to a function, where she was to meet with President Jonathan and other top politicians dressed in that manner. They came to a conclusion that Omoni Oboli is now interested in selling herself out to politicians just to make money.
Ever since then, the respect many had for her faded away like the stars of the morning. She has been struggling to get people to begin believing she is a respectable married woman. Who do we blame?
