Contrary
to the rumours going round that states have received bailout funds from
the President Muhammadu Buhari government, Adams Oshiomole, Edo state
governor, has dismissed the report.
Oshiomole who made the disclosure at a reception for the
Inspector-General of Police (IG), Solomon Arase, in his local
government, Sabongida Ora, Owan West Local Government Area of the
state.
The Lies Of APC, Oshiomhole: Group Promises To Expose More
According to Premium Times, Oshiomole however said President Buhari
is committed to seeing an end to the situation where up to fifteen
states owe workers’ salaries.
He said: “there is some conversation going on between the Federal
Government and the Governors and the president has been extremely
positive in recognizing that he does not want to preside over a country
whose workers are not paid.
“At the end of the day, it is not acceptable where fourteen to
fifteen states cannot pay salaries. The good news is that the president
is standing by us and there is always a time lag between when you
conceptualize and when you implement.
“For now, no government has got one naira under the bailout arrangement.”
Oshiomole also reserved kind words for the IG of police, he said, “the
celebrant is not just a man of history, there are many people who could
become the I-G, by political connection, but I think he has a very
unique ability.
“I also believe that your present elevation is a demonstration of
the way you have sought to manage your office , deal with the
challenges of the police force without being partisan, This is a
difficult position to maintain. As an Edo man, you represent the finest
tradition with courage, determination and intellect to your job no
matter whose ox is gored.
Just two days ago, the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) denied asking the federal government for a bailout in order for bankrupt states to pay up salary arrears.
‘Owing Workers Their Salaries Is Pure Terrorism’ – LP
The governors, however had a meeting with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday, July 23, at the presidential villa, Aso rock in a closed-door meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC).
Diezani Alison-Madueke, the former minister of petroleum resources, has allegedly offered a generous refund to the federal government in order to receive immunity from prosecution and investigation of any kind.
According to a report by Sahara Reporters, the offered sum equals at least $250 million dollars. Its correspondent also learnt that President Buhari is not in a position to accept any compensation.
An insider source at the presidential villa revealed that the ex-minister is counting on Governor Nasir El-Rufai to assist her in negotiations with the president. However, a positive outcome is unlikely:
“Mr President considers the $250 million as ridiculous considering the amount of money Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke is suspected to have diverted into her pocket and those of others,” an unnamed APC member told the journalist.
Alison-Madueke’s alleged move can perhaps be explained by the upcoming meeting between the US Attorney General Loretta Lynch and President Buhari during his visit to the USA.
Details on Sahara Reporters
According to a report on Sahara Reporters, the embattled Alison-Madueke is allegedly playing the sick card in the United Kingdom where she has spent most of her time since President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory at the poll.
Contrary to media reports that Alison-Madueke is in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), two sources in the UK who are quite familiar with the former minister’s physical condition told Sahara Reporters today, July 28, that her condition had not worsened.
One of the sources went as far as alleging that the ex-Petroleum Minister might be coordinating the reports about her ill health as a strategy to attract public sympathy and official pardon from President Muhammadu Buhari.
This follows an extensive intelligence from US authorities detailing the extent of Alison-Madueke’s looting of petro-dollars under the watch of former president Jonathan, which was handed over to President Buhari during his 4-day visit to the country.
Fears Over Alison-Madueke’s Health, As Family Appeals To Nigerians
The UK source disclosed that Alison-Madueke recently concluded a course of treatment for cancer, adding that she is not hospitalized in London as being hyped by some members of her family.
Another source revealed that he and others were in touch with the former minister as recently as yesterday.
“She is definitely not in an ICU [intensive care unit] as I understand that some press people have been reporting,” the source said.
He added: “All I know is that there is a fair amount of anxiety on her part about all the reports coming out about her management of the affairs of the oil sector. Perhaps this anxiety is translating into efforts to portray her as sicker than she is, in reality. That strategy is understandable, as a way of lessening public reaction to reports that are out there. And there’s considerable uncertainty about what [President] Buhari is going to do. So, yes, there’s an advantage to the reports [of her critical ill health], but I can tell you she’s not in any devastated shape. Far from it.”
It would be recalled that Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo state told reporters at the State House in Abuja that US officials informed Buhari that a Nigerian minister under President Jonathan stole as much as $6 billion from the Nigerian treasury.
Although Oshiomhole did not disclose the name of the minister involved, there were however indications that Alison-Madueke was the minister in question.

Editor’s note: Edo state governor Adams Oshiomhole had a big announcement to make after returning from the US, where he accompanied President Muhammadu Buhari on
a state visit to President Barack Obama. According to Governor
Oshiomhole, senior officials of the US State Department told him “one
minister under the PDP” had alone embezzled six billion dollars. As the
news continues to excite the minds of Nigerians, the Naij.com columnist Joachim MacEbong ponders
over the appropriateness of loud public accusations voiced by such
outspoken characters as Rotimi Amaechi or Oshiomhole.
It is always interesting to watch second-term presidents and
governors in action. In America, Barack Obama enters the twilight of his
presidency on a wave of victories as he cements his legacies in terms
of foreign and domestic policy. With no further political battles to
fight, “second-termers” are likely to be more laid-back and prepared to
say what they really think, without having to offend this or that
constituency due to re-election concerns.
Needless to say, this is a weighty allegation. It is an allegation that should not be made at all without proof, one that should not be made unless the accuser is prepared to approach a court of law with proof of that accusation, so that the accused can respond. If correct, it is a betrayal of public trust that should warrant substantial time in jail and serve as a warning to others.
This is not the case, and so a free-for-all is the result, with media outlets falling over themselves to amplify the allegations of people like Adams Oshiomhole, as if those allegations were newsworthy in and of themselves.
The fact is that they are not. As I said here earlier this month when examining the sudden ‘revival’ of the EFCC, corruption is not fought on the pages of newspapers. No amount of bombast or spectacle can replace the due legal process that comes with establishing the guilt of a person, and meting out the full punishment.
The proper thing to do is bring charges in a court of law and tender evidence so that the law can take its course. Unless and until the Buhari administration can do this, it is unwise to continue to allow Adams Oshiomhole – or anyone else, for that matter – continue to make these statements. There is a lot of danger in continuing this cycle where new administrations at state and federal accuse their predecessors of all kinds of things, without ever holding them to account.
Both the PDP and the APC have governors who are prepared to say things others will not say, those who are prepared to ‘take one for the team’. On the PDP side, it is Ayo Fayose. On the APC side, it used to be Rotimi Amaechi. It now appears that Adams Oshiomhole is rising to take over that abrasive, combative role, while Amaechi himself has been especially quiet.
This role, however, is mostly useless to governance, and it smacks of an administration that is still in campaign mode. Beyond giving ample material for newspaper headlines, it is full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomhole
Expectations…
As one of the few second-term governors in the current ranks, Adams Oshiomhole occupies an interesting position. With just over a year to the end of his tenure, which ends next November, he appears set to go out with a bang. He has made it his business to challenge the former coordinating minister for the economy, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, over her handling of the economy. Specifically, he has accused her of illegal deductions from the Federation Account in aid of Jonathan’s re-election campaign, to the tune of $1 billion.Needless to say, this is a weighty allegation. It is an allegation that should not be made at all without proof, one that should not be made unless the accuser is prepared to approach a court of law with proof of that accusation, so that the accused can respond. If correct, it is a betrayal of public trust that should warrant substantial time in jail and serve as a warning to others.
… and the reality on ground
But we are not at that point yet. One thing Nigeria excels in is “trial by media,” where all manner of libellous allegations are flung hither and thither on the pages of newspapers and, increasingly, the online space. A more functional legal system would be full to the brim with libel lawsuits, and many would be out of business due to the damages they would have to pay.
Bare allegations
Oshiomhole’s latest allegation is that he was told by senior American officials that a minister in Jonathan’s cabinet stole $6 billion, which is over a trillion Naira. The questions that follow this statement are obvious, from the identity of this minister, to when a case will be brought against him or her.The proper thing to do is bring charges in a court of law and tender evidence so that the law can take its course.
Much ado about…?
The biggest question, perhaps, is this: Why has Adams Oshiomhole, in the last two months, become a cross between an auditor, anti-corruption czar, presidential spokesman and judge? What is the end game? Both the PDP and the APC have governors who are prepared to say things others will not say, those who are prepared to ‘take one for the team’. On the PDP side, it is Ayo Fayose. On the APC side, it used to be Rotimi Amaechi. It now appears that Adams Oshiomhole is rising to take over that abrasive, combative role, while Amaechi himself has been especially quiet.

It can’t get worse than that. They said, ‘You’re rubbish and whatever you did before in your career was luck.’
But the new coach [Sherwood] trusted me. He gave me the keys to all the doors of the club and said, ‘Do what you want to do and make yourself at home’.
Yesterday, Togolesse footballer, Emmanuel Adebayor went online to explain his problem with his allegedly lazy family members who have only been a leech to his life.
Adebayor was forced to respond after allegations that he abandoned his elder brother, Peter Adebayor to die and doesn’t care about his family back home from his family.
Well Adebayor friend, Peter Okoye from P’square fame went online to throw his full support to his friend and said that pressure is always on the most successful in the family.
Here’s what he shared on his instagram.
“I thank you for sharing your story bro, that was very brave. Indeed as Africans, the pressure is always on the most successful in the family and it hurts when your efforts are not appreciated and belittled.

Emmanuel Adebayor
It looks like the social media drama might not end soon as Lucia Adebayor, the sister of the Tottenham striker, has snapped back at her brother over his recent social media foray, in which he openly talked about the many challenges he is facing with his family, especially his siblings and mother.
The sister of the striker has responded by calling him a ‘liar and under a spell’. She commented under her brother’s Facebook posts saying:
“Keep on lying to the whole world brother… where is the car you got for mum… you took it back… The house you claim you bought for sister are all lies… The phones Rotimi stole are all lies
“Money is not everything oooo… we the family don’t even need you again just be on your own so we do the same…de fact you have it today doesn’t guarantee your tomorrow… May God Allah forgive you.”
“The Alphas and Mallams have done great harm to your life. You need God… Only God can save your soul.” ….”

Adebayor also accused his brother of stealing 27 phones of players who were with him at a training club. The footballer said a lot too about his sister and much more. However, in a new interview with Sun News, Adebayor’s brother, Rotimi Adebayor has clarified his side of the story. Rotimi talked about the phones he stole, his brother’s attitude lately and how their mother has been affected badly by the series of tarnishing Facebook updates that his brother posted.
FAMILY DRAMA: Footballer Adebayor’s Sister Says He’s Under A Spell, Reveals More
Read excerpts below:
Some people here in Togo said that you are always willing to give out to the needy. How are you able to meet their demands now that your elder brother, Emmanuel has withdrawn his properties from your care?
It’s really tough now. The situation is no longer the way it used to be. I hardly go out because I have my own business to mind. As you can see that I run a bar very close to where I live.
What about your numerous fans in Lome…those who used to hang out with you?
I used to have many friends because of my brother’s popularity but today; they are nowhere to be found. They have all left me to face my travail. ‘Owo epo laiye n ba ni la won ki n ba ni la ti eje’ (People are willing to dine with you when the situation is perfect but you’ll never see them in difficult times). These are the people I used to dash out 5000CFA, 10,000CFA, even 20,000CFA without blinking but now things are not the same. I have accepted to carry the cross alone. Now I have learnt a big lesson. I don’t have any friend again.
Where is your mum now?
We have moved out of my brother’s house in Didjole. Now she stays a stone throw away from my place, I mean the same neighbourhood. It’s a rented apartment.
How do you combine your bar business with your football career?
I have people that work with me in the bar. They are nice guys. They give sales report anytime I am in Benin Republic but I am around now because the season has just ended.
Tell us about your performance last season in the Republic of Benin?
I didn’t start the season with Royale FC. I joined the team in mid season and I scored 9 goals in 15 matches. I believe that’s a huge return in terms of goals conversion rate.
Why didn’t you or your brother represent Nigeria?
We were born and brought up here in Togo. This is the culture we understand and for me, I never thought about representing Nigeria. It never came across my mind.
You speak Yoruba fluently but have you been to your village in Nigeria.
We are from Osun State. Our dad is from Igbaye while our mum is from a neighbouring town called Ekusa. They are both in Odo-Otin Local Government Area. Yoruba is our first language then we are also fluent in Ewe and French. I do come to Lagos to see my friends and club mates but not Osun State.
Scouts may not be able to fish you out in Benin Republic. Why don’t you try a move to Europe?
I have received offers and I wanted my brother to help but he failed to do so because of the current family issues. I believe I can make it over there because I played some pre-season friendlies with Valladolid in Spain some years back but failed to sign for them.
I also received an offer from a club in Belgium but my brother isn’t willing to assist me again.
You don’t need your brother’s influence or financial support if you are good enough?
Things are really hard for me right now as I hope my brother would accept my apology. He knows I am a good striker as well.
You seem to be confident of your football skills. Why haven’t you been invited to the national team of Togo?
I was in the national team when Stephen Keshi was in charge. He invited me and was happy with my performance in training. During a particular session he called my brother, Emmanuel and I aside. He looked straight into my brother’s eye and said that, ‘Watch out, this boy would be better than you soon’
And what was your brother’s reaction?
He didn’t say anything.
Did you feature in the next match after the training?
No, I cannot explain what happened thereafter. I was not invited again and then Keshi left the national team a few months later.
Did Keshi resign because he had a problem with your brother just before the World Cup?
Yes there were some issues but I cannot recall what happened then because I was very young and unwilling to interfere in such issues.
Now your brother has a problem with you, which you can remember?
Ah! the Facebook rants. Everyone knows what happened because he decided to make a mountain out of a molehill. ‘Oro ase ni gbogbo e’ (They are words spoken out of context)
Are the allegations levelled against you untrue?
I have my own story as well but ‘Omo ti owo e o ti te eeku ida ko gbodo bere iku ti o pa baba re’ (A child who is yet to take control of the sword should not seek reasons for his father’s death)
But you have apologized to him; did he accept your plea?
No response from him yet. I apologised because he is my elder brother and we have resolved so settle issues amicably. My elder sister advised us to bury the hatchet.
You met him at a training pitch yesterday (Thursday, May 21)…
Yes, we met and he said, ‘Omo Iya ba wo ni’ (My brother how are you). However, I didn’t play with them because I wasn’t in the mood.
And you didn’t wait for him after the training.
No, I was there till he left but he didn’t greet me as he drove off.
He is a superstar indeed?
I agree, yes he is
And you annoyed him so much that he made such revelations about you?
Hmh! I can’t explain what happened
But you know what happened to the missing 21 phones including play station games from 27 players?
(Smiles) No, 26 players excluding me. ‘Mi o kin se ole’ (I am not a thief)
Is it because you cannot steal your own phone?
‘Mi o ji mobile phone, Mo ri he ni’ (I didn’t steal any mobile phone. I fortuitously found them and picked)
How did it happen and when?
It was at the FC Metz football Academy in France and I was 14 years old then. My mates were already at the training pitch on that day, so I was running to meet up with them when I found the mobile phone on the aisle within the training complex.
So you picked it and didn’t declare that you found a mobile phone, which belongs to your teammate.
That was the mistake I made and I regretted it thereafter. Actually I kept it on the table in my room and my roommate wanted to know who owns the phone because he didn’t have any then. I told him how I found it, and then he demanded to make use of it.
What’s his name?
Kelvin. He is an American and the owner of the phone is from Asia but from an ‘Arab country’ The ‘Arab’ boy saw the phone with Kelvin and immediately reported the case to the management of the academy.
They informed my brother about it. He called me to hear my side of the story but I was later informed to pack my things out of the academy.
Then you could have returned to complete your secondary school in Togo
No I love the game so much that I left for France just after my primary school
Where?
Amazing Grace Primary School in Aflao, the border town between Togo and Ghana.
So you didn’t attend any secondary school?
No, I didn’t.
What about the remaining mobile phones you were accused of stealing at the academy?
‘Mo ni mio ja ole se’ (I didn’t steal). I have just explained what happened.
Your brother has released three posts on Facebook to paint a bad picture of the family?
It’s really disheartening that such a thing is happening to us right now. My wife was mocked at the market after the first post Seyi (Emmanuel Adebayor) published on Facebook. She called me to inform me about what people are saying. Immediately I logged in and read the post. I felt very sad.
What did you do thereafter?
I called him and asked him why he had to do that but he got angry with me. We had a heated argument on phone, which led to unprintable words being used freely. As a matter of fact, we quarrelled over the phone for almost two hours.
You hurled insults on your elder brother who made you and the Adebayor family famous?
Yes I did that because I felt very sad and embarrassed. Then he made a decision to inflict more insinuations against me.
How?
He called my phone before he released the second post on Facebook. He asked me to go and read the second posts, which he wanted to release in 30 minutes.
And…
He did in exactly thirty minutes and before I could log into my F acebook account, my friends called me to quickly go and read the second part of my ‘film’.
What film?
The post he released, the second rant against the family. It’s sad because our mother, who poured her blood on our heads, received the greatest insult of her life. A woman who suffered so that we can live a good life is now receiving such a disgraceful accusation.
You mean the witchcraft allegation?
Yes and all those nonsense things he wrote against me and our elder sister in Ghana. Well, we have decided to leave it all in God’s hand. Our mother is a not a witch neither does she practice witchcraft. How can your mother wish you bad luck? I play football as well and I know that players do suffer loss of form. He shouldn’t put the blame on anyone.
He said that he sent a huge amount of money to save Peter’s life but alleged that the family squandered the money?
To be honest, he did. Seyi sent the money but it was judiciously spent to meet his (Peter’s) health needs. He suffered before he died.
Some people in Togo are of the opinion that Peter died as result of the hard substances he used to inhale?
No, he wasn’t into such but he was hooked on ‘Igbo’ (Indian hemp), which affected him mentally. He was such great person who also helped financially to make Seyi achieve his football dream.
And the family didn’t spend the money very well for his rehabilitation?
No, we did but he died. We lost him in 2013. His death and our father’s in 2005 are factors that have affected the family in a big way but I wouldn’t like to be drawn into such issues now.
What happened to Seyi’s home in Ghana?
He has over 50 houses in Lome and currently lives in Didjole. He also has some others in Ghana. He has taken custody of everything.
What about the house he alleged your elder sister rented out?
‘Oro ase ni yen se’ (They are unrealistic words)
Opinions are divided among the citizens of Togo concerning Emmanuel Adebayor’s biological mother?
People can say whatever they like. He is my elder brother and we know we have the same mother. I am less bothered about the rumour going round the city.
You blamed yourself for the lingering crisis in the family. What did you do?
A lot of people do not understand the beginning of this issue but I put the blame on myself because of the boy I wanted to help. His name is Masaudu. He’s from the Republic of Benin. I brought him from the rough side of the border so that he can help us with some domestic work. He grew up with the family and betrayed us. Masaudu cooked up stories for Seyi to believe and he succeeded in destroying our family. He was the one that was sent to inform our mother to pack out of the house. But I believe that God’s judgment will prevail. I will continue to appeal to him (Emmanuel Adebayor) to be considerate in his judgment. I want him to forgive and forget in the memory of our late father and forget what people are telling him. We have our children and we shouldn’t let this issue degenerate into generational fight.
Now you have suddenly become spiritual?
I am not far away from God.
Where do you worship?
We are members of the Baptist church
How often do you go to church?
Hmnn! Not always sha! but our mother hardly misses church services. She’s always there every Sunday. She’s already preparing for the Pentecost Sunday tomorrow (Sunday May 24). It’s a big day in Togo and the next day is a public holiday.
Did you marry a Togolese woman?
No, She’s a Nigerian from Ife in Osun State. Her name is Shantal and we are blessed with a two and half years old boy- Kingsley.
You’re trying to bring up a good family but there were allegations made against Kola, who is based in Germany about his inability to cater for his family.
He is my elder brother and I am not going to make any comment about him. All I can say is that he is a very nice person and contributed immensely to the family needs in the past and at present, he is doing well.
Your mum is back at where she sells polythene bags, padlocks and other things at the border.
It’s really sad to see her return to a business she left a long time ago. No one would be happy to see her mum in this sort of situation. Well, I leave it all in God’s hand. He will judge every situation. ‘Ayanmo ni gbogbo nkan’ (Destiny will always prevail).
Togolese
footballer, Emmanuel Adebayor’s mother Alice and his younger brother,
Rotimi have finally apologized to their young son following a recent
visit from a delegation in Nigeria.
The delegation was made up of family members and friends who all monitored the online drama between the family.
They all met with Emmanuel and his siblings in Didjole and Avedji in Lome, Togo in a bid to settle the rift between them.
One member of the delegation, Emmanuel Folorunsho told reporters that the Mother was sad and even made a prayer for her son but Emmanuel is yet to accept their plea owing to some reasons which he wouldn’t like to reveal.
“We met Alice at the market in Koviakope where she sells kitchen utensils. She was quite surprised to see us. She presented her own case and prayed for his son.
Although the former Gunners striker and his mother didn’t see each other, she had reasons to ask him to forgive and let peace reign in the family. Soon after, we met Sheyi and conveyed the message to him”
Meanwhile Rotimi who reportedly survived a suicide attempt 10 days ago, was also at the meeting and when he was called by reporters, he said that indeed his elder brother, Emmanuel invited him and he obliged.
“I was at home in Avedji when he called me to join the peace meeting. I prostrated to him for long hours, begging and seeking for forgiveness. I am really frustrated now and I really expect him to pardon us now”
Rotimi then claimed to be psychologically affected by the rancour said he only want his brother to forget the past.
“I am very ill now and I need money to treat myself. I also need cash to pay for my house rent, which is already due for payment. I asked him to assist me but he refused. I hope my plea would not be for nothing”
Emmanuel seems keen on moving on with his life after alleging that his family have tried to kill him and make his life unbearable, Lucia, the last child of the family is the only sibling Emmanuel Adebayor holds no grudge against.
The kinmen after seeing their attempts wither are now making frantic efforts to consult spiritualists as a way to combat the crisis.
Emmanuel Folorunsho who was in the team that met with Emmanuel Adebayor in Lome, added his own view in support of the move.
“It is true that we have plans to meet with spiritualists because we have met the two parties and there is a deadlock at the moment. We cannot fold our arms and leave the situation in a messy state neither are we going to wait for it to get messier.”
“All I know is that prayer is the key and we’ll employ that to solve the situation. We hope God Almighty will speak to them and a lasting peace will reign.”
Last week, the Onigbaye of Igbaye, His Royal Majesty, Oba Joseph Morounfoye Okunlola explained that they had consulted with their Gods, concerning the situation in Emmanuel Adebayor’s family. He went on to say that they must appease the gods if their situation is to change.
Adebayor had in three facebook posts explained why he harbours ill feelings to his family expecially his mother and Rotimi.
The delegation was made up of family members and friends who all monitored the online drama between the family.

Reports
reaching us indicates that former captain of the Togolese national
football team Emmanuel Adebayor is still bitter about the way his mother
and siblings have treated him.
It was earlier reported that Adebayor’s mother made efforts to beg the angered son, but the former Arsenal striker refused apology saying she should let him be.
Like a soap opera with several episodes, Adebayor shared several posts on his Facebook page to reveal the dirty details behind the relationship between him and his mother.
Adebayor alleged that his mother and brother tried steal and exploit money from him and stated categorically that he has moved on with his life.

Recently, the striker visited Togo and in a bid to persuade him, the Nigerian kinsmen within the Adebayor family made efforts to arrange a meeting to settle the grievance amicably.
Although the mother was visibly sober and remorseful, the former African footballer of the year refused to see her. As a matter of fact, Adebayor refused meeting with her one-on-one.
It would be recalled that in the past months, Adebayor shared three posts on his Facebook page to express anger with his family and urged the public to learn lessons from it.

That
Togolese footballer, Emmanuel Adebayor converted to Islam is no longer
news. The news had gone viral and the Aston Villa bound striker had also
confirmed it.
Adebayor has now come out to fully address the issue by giving reasons why he converted to Islam. He justified his new found faith by saying Muslims are like Jesus and also described them as” truer followers of Christ”.
Family Crisis: Adebayor’s Kinsmen In Nigeria Go Emotional, Read What They Have To Say
Read below (Source: The Herald):
1. Jesus (pbuh) taught that there is only One God and Only God should be worshipped as taught in Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29. Muslims also believe this as taught in the Qur’an verse 4:171.
2. Jesus (pbuh) didn’t eat pork as taught in Leviticus 11:7 , and neither do Muslims as taught in the Qur’an verse 6:145.
3. Jesus (pbuh) greeted with the words “as salaamu alaikum” (Peace be with you) in John 20:21. Muslims also greet each other this way.
4. Jesus (pbuh) always said “God Willing” (inshallah), Muslims say this too before doing anything as taught in the Qur’an verses 18:23-24.
5. Jesus (pbuh) washed his face, hands, and feet before praying. The Muslims do the same.
6. Jesus (pbuh) and other prophets of the Bible prayed with their head to the ground (see Matthew26:39). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an verse 3:43.
7. Jesus (pbuh) had a beard and wore a throbe. It is Sunnah for Muslim men to do the same.
8. Jesus (pbuh) followed the law and believed in all the prophets, (see Matthew 5:17). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an verses 3:84, and 2:285.
9. Jesus’ mother Maryam (pbut) dressed modestly by fully covering her body and wearing a headscarf (hijab) as found in 1 Timothy 2:9, Genesis 24:64-65, and Corinthians 11:6. Muslim women modestly dress the same as taught in the Qur’an verse 33:59.
10. Jesus (pbuh) and other prophets of the Bible fasted up to 40 days (see Exodus 34:28, Daniel 10:2-6. 1Kings 19:8, and Matthew 4:1-Muslims do so also during the month of Ramadan. Muslims are required to fast the full obligatory 30 days (see Qur’an 2:183), and others take it a step further by fasting an additional 6 days to increase their rewards.
11. Jesus (pbuh) taught to say “Peace to this house” when entering it (see Luke 10:5), and to also greet the people in the house with “peace be unto you”. Muslims do exactly what Jesus did and taught. When we enter our homes and the homes of others we say “Bismillah” and also greet with “as salaamu alaikum” (peace be upon you) as taught in the Qur’an verse 24:61.
12. Jesus (pbuh) was circumcised. Circumcision is 1 of the 5 fitrah in Islam, so Muslim men are required to be circumcised. According to the Bible in Luke 2:21, Jesus was eight days old when he was circumcised. In the Torah, Allah/God stated to the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) that it is an “Everlasting covenant” (see Genesis 17:13). In the Qur’an verse 16:123 Muslims are required to follow the religion of Abraham. The Prophet Muhammad (saws) said, “The Prophet Abraham circumcised himself when he was eighty years old.” (see Sahih hadith Bukhari, Muslim, and Ahmad).
13. Jesus (pbuh) spoke aramaic and called God”Elah”, which is pronounced the same as “Allah”. Aramaic is an ancient, Biblical language. It is one of the Semitic languages that also include Hebrew, Arabic, Ethiopic and the ancient Assyrian and Babylonian language of Akkadian.
The Aramaic”Elah” and the Arabic “Allah” are the same.
Recently, through his instagram page, Adebayor wished everyone a happy Eid Mubarak along with a photo of himself wearing the popular Arabian white thaw and an ankle-length white shirt.

Maria Popova
is making her debut here at Your Daily Girl, and I sincerely hope it’s
the first of many. I had never heard of her before, but she is simply
stunning without a doubt.
Rosie Jones and Holly Peers decided to enjoy the pool together, which I for one am a fan of, I just wish they were nude, but I’ll take what I can get.
