Bruce Jenner on ABC
After months of speculation, Bruce Jenner has said he is transgender and identifies as a woman.
"For all intents and purposes, I am a woman," he told Diane Sawyer on ABC.
Jenner was speaking in a two-hour interview on ABC News where he confirmed that he'd been wrestling with his gender since childhood.
The former US Olympic gold medallist is considered the most high-profile American to come out as transgender.

"That female side of me is part of me. It's who I am. I was not genetically born that way.
"As of now I have all of the male parts. So in a lot of ways we are different," he added.
Jenner was asked if it was a publicity stunt to promote his reality show, but he laughed at this and denied it.
Entertainment channel E! has said a new documentary series will follow Bruce's life as a transgender woman, starting in July.
The reality TV star said his stepdaughter, Kim Kardashian, had been a big supporter and so had her husband Kanye West.

Jenner said that the past few months had been difficult but he was going to be fine.
"Yeah, I hope I'm gonna be OK. I feel like I'm gonna be OK. 2015's gonna be quite a ride... quite a ride."
He added: "People look at me differently, they see you as this macho male but my heart and my soul and everything I do in life it is part of me."
He admitted that it had been something he has lived with all his life. He said that when he was eight he started dressing up in his mother and sister's clothes.
"At that time I didn't know why I was just doing it, just that it felt good."

He denied speculation that he is involved in a publicity stunt and said that he hoped his story could help other transgender people.
"What I am doing is going to do some good. We're gonna change the world. I really, firmly believe that.
"We're going to make a difference in the world with what we're doing."

The Darkness
Drummer in The Darkness Emily Dolan Davies has left the band, after only joining earlier this year.
Emily made her live debut on 6 March but is departing to pursue "new projects".
The group said in a statement: "We part ways with fond farewells.
"Emily played a huge part in the recording of our new album Last Of Our Kind and makes a final appearance in the video for our single Open Fire, which is coming to a screen near you."
Emily posted this on her Facebook page just last month
The drummer had "revitalised" The Darkness, according to singer Justin Hawkins.
"She's a hard hitter," he previously told Classic Rock.

Speaking about The Darkness's split with founding member Ed Graham in 2014, Hawkins said: "Ed has had some well-publicised health problems in the past.
"And for one reason or another, he wasn't capable of doing his job anymore.
We're still friends with Ed but now that we have Emily in the band, the worry is gone."
It is not yet certain what they will do to replace Emily.
The Darkness's fourth album, Last Of Our Kind, will be released on 1 June.
The follow-up to 2012's Hot Cakes was recorded at Leeders Farm Studio in Norfolk, owned by The Darkness guitarist Dan Hawkins.
"The new album is brutal," Justin Hawkins said.
"It's definitely stripped back, with the exception of some mandolins.
"But when you're doing medieval rock, you should have a mandolin on it...it's medieval rock, but it still sounds like The Darkness."

Amber Rose: I didn't Photoshop my Instagram

Amber Rose
Amber Rose has told 1Xtra that she doesn't Photoshop the pictures on her Instagram account.
The actor and model was pictured in an image appearing to show dimples on her behind.
She responded by posting photos on Instagram which led to claims she had edited the images.
She told Charlie Sloth that "she sees herself naked every day and my body does not look like those pictures."
"People are negative and they want to see celebrities look really, really bad," she added.
Charlie asked her directly if she had altered the pictures and she admitted that she may have use filters. (Um, like all of us?)
"They see a beautiful photograph of me and think I PhotoShopped it and if they see an extremely unflattering picture of me... they assume that is my natural body and that's not PhotoShopped," she explained.

She stated again clearly that her pictures were not enhanced.
"I wouldn't know how to begin... maybe a filter but that is about it."

Lianne La Havas
Lianne La Havas says her new album, Blood, was inspired by a trip to Jamaica with her mum.
Speaking to Annie Mac on Radio 1, the 25-year-old said the holiday got her thinking about where she comes from and her background.
Unstoppable is the first track from the new album, which is out on 31 July.
Lianne La Havas said she was "more excited than probably ever" after it was chosen as Annie's Hottest Record in the World.
Lianne said she wrote Unstoppable with a friend of hers, the producer Paul Epworth, who's collaborated with several big names including Adele, Florence and the Machine, Coldplay, Cee Lo Green and Bloc Party.

"We had a really really wonderful time making it.
"The subject is a bit emotionally led, as is a lot of my music... it's about getting back together with an ex-partner and relating it to celestial speak, and the galaxy, to give it a bit of imagery."
Blood is the follow-up to Lianne's first album, Is Your Love Big Enough? and is out in the next few months.
"I went on a trip with my mum and it was the first time I'd ever been there."
Lianne told Annie Mac she was raised by her Jamaican grandparents, and the trip, "just kind of unexpectedly got me thinking about my culture and where I come from."
Lianne La Havas
Her father's Greek and she went to Greece as a child so she said it was only logical to go to Jamaica.
"I came back with a whole new sense of understanding of who I am, why I like what I like, I met all the family I never knew I had and Jamaica itself is beautiful."
She said Blood grew out of the experiences she had travelling.
"I learned a lot there and it was kind of sowing seeds for what became the second album."
