Celebrities: Say What!?

Kate Middleton and Prince William
Marital strife already?!?! Rumor has it that Kate Middleton and Prince William have been fighting non-stop over her pregnancy plans and that’s why she’s decided to move out of Kensington Palace.
A source actually suggests that things have gotten so bad, it looks like Kate and William are going to be spending the rest of her pregnancy separated while she tries to work out her future.

Article Continued

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Kate moved out of the palace because things have gone south between her and Prince William and that she has no choice but to go to her parents' house. Here's what they say:
Kate Middleton and Prince William are fighting! Yes, Kate’s hormones are raging and William and the Princess are not getting along so she has left her hubby. When do married women go home to their parents’ house? After a falling out, that is when.
YIKES. First off, I don’t want to believe this as true, but it does make a little sense. When I was pregnant with my children, it was my husband who helped me out the most when I was sick and needed a good foot rub to make it through the day. In fact, it was him who also did all the grocery runs to help satisfy my pregnancy cravings, too. My mom wasn’t in the picture until after the baby was born, and it was only then when she helped out the most. Prince William is the person who is supposed to be there for Kate when she needs him the most right now ... and hopefully that’s exactly what he’s doing.
Even with that being said, there have been no other indications that Prince William and Kate are having marital problems. While I’m sure that they do fight from time to time, that’s totally normal. Every couple argues!
Do you think Kate Middleton moved out because of Prince William?

It is no longer news that some of our celebrities are now identifying with one political party or the other but when it gets to the point that one of them make a proclamation that he/she can die for the party, then it might mean something else.
Although many people are of the opinion that politics should not be mixed with entertainment, recent developments have shown otherwise as entertainers are taking part in partisan politics. Recall that just recently, Singer Olamide released a campaign song for Buhari and Osinbajo.

Despite his shocking dismissal as the inspector general of police on Tuesday, Suleiman Abba has lauded his own performance during the 2015 general elections in the country.
The former inspector general of police said that he did his very best and delivered credible and peaceful elections to the country.
Abba was sacked on Tuesday, as announced in a statement by the presidential spokesman Dr Reuben Abati, who said the sacking was with immediate effect.
Shortly after his dismissal, he was replaced in an acting capacity by the former deputy inspector general of police in charge of force intelligence, Solomon Arase.

He said, “I want to thank the Almighty God, for seeing me into the office of IGP; like He said, He gives and He takes and He is also seeing me out as the IGP, particularly, when it is in good health and with the ovation I’m getting from my colleagues.
“I want to thank the president and commander-in-chief of the armed forces, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, for that appointment and for also seeing me out at this time because I believe God knows the best. And I want to say that I want to move on with my life believing that life has steps and it is a journey.”
“To my colleagues, I know you have seen it all. We started at a time that was very difficult in Nigerian history, a time when politics had picked up. We were getting ready for the elections and our whole attention, I would say, was on the elections, even though we kept on doing our best in managing our day to day activities”.
“My happiness is that we have gone through it; the elections are almost over. I want to seize this opportunity to thank everyone, all stakeholders with regards to the 2015 elections for making it not only a reality, but also making it credible.”
“I’m happy we had a credible and peaceful conduct in the 2015 general elections. And I want to urge you to put in more efforts because it is not over yet; the elections are not concluded in at least three states”.

He said there would be a massive deployment of personnel to prevent social disorder and the police will decisively deal with troublemakers.
IGP Suleiman Abba, NPM, NPOM, mni was the 17th indigenous inspector general of police and was appointed by President Jonathan. He formally took over on August 1, 2014, from the former police boss, IGP MD Abubakar (Rtd). Stop giving away your hard-earned money...
At least that's what Barbara Corcoran, millionaire and star of ABC TV show "Shark Tank" thinks you're doing by sitting on your current mortgage rate. According to the expert, she thinks "not shopping the market...is like giving money away" when mortgage rates are low. 1 Known as "New York's queen of real estate" who famously turned $1,000 into a multibillion dollar real estate business,2 you should listen to her.
With today's mortgage rates at near rock-bottom lows, millions of homeowners are spending tens and thousands of dollars more than they need to.3 By refinancing their homes to today's low rates, homeowners saved on average of $250 a month on their mortgage payments.4 This translates into $3,000 a year, which you could use to pay off debt, go on your dream vacation, or even pay your children's college education.
TIP: These low rates won't last long. Freddie Mac predicts rates to rise this year,5 so now may be your best and only chance to save on your mortgage. There's absolutely no cost to see low rates available today. See Your Low Rates >>
If homeowners could save thousands of dollars a year (and potentially even be mortgage-free by the time they retire), why are they not actively jumping on this opportunity?

What the Banks May Be Hiding from You

Do you think that banks want you paying a lower interest rate, which means less money for them? You can bet that they do not. They would rather keep you at the rate you financed years ago so you can continue giving your money away to them. They also know that you could start shopping around for the lowest rates, which means they could lose your business to another lender. Homeowners may be shocked at the extremely low rates available to them, especially when multiple lenders are fighting and competing for your business.

The Home Refinance Plan That Has Banks "On Edge"

There is also a little-known government program that was not widely publicized by the banks called the Home Affordable Refinance Plan (HARP). During the economic downturn in 2009, the US government designed HARP to help middle-class Americans reduce their mortgage payments and put more money in their pockets. But again, many banks kept this from homeowners because they want to take your money.
TIP: Those who refinanced through HARP reduced their mortgage payments by as much as an astounding $4,264 each year.7 See How Much You Can Save >>
Through HARP, the government relaxed refinance guidelines and “it doesn't appraise your house which allows so many more people to actually refinance the high interest they have on their loan,” Barbara says. If you owe less than $625,000 on your mortgage, you may be able to qualify for this terrfic HARP program.
However, time is running out for homeowners to save money through this program. Set to expire this year, it is vital you act now. The good news though is once you're approved, you're locked into the lower rate.
TIP: Close to a million homeowners could still benefit from this program today.8 Sadly, many perceive this program to be too good to be true. Remember, this is a free government program and there is NO cost to see if you qualify. See if you qualify >>
With average savings of $250 per month4, you could use the extra $3,000 a year for expenses, pay off your credit card debt, and even begin your road to a mortgage-free retirement. But it is important you act now before this opportunity passes.

Where Do I Start?

With hundreds of mortgage lenders and brokers available, it can take consumers hours to simply contact each one separately and request a quote.
To cut through the clutter, Barbara Corcoran suggests that a great place to start is online9. There are services that could help you save time and money by comparing multiple lenders at once. Services such as The Easy Loan Site10 has one of the biggest lender network in the nation.
There's no obligation to homeowners, and The Easy Loan Site offers easy and fast comparisons. It takes about five minutes, and the service is 100% free. You have nothing to lose, except for your money problems!

Corps Member Accused Of Stealing Money Speaks

NYSC member, Abayomi Isaac Oyebukola accused of stealing N2.3m meant for 144 Corpers in Osun has spoken out.
According to Naijagists report, Abayomi Isaac Oyebukola  who was the Corps members’ Liason Officer (CLO) as chosen by the NYSC local government inspector(LGI) has cleared the air on the accusation.
Read below;
Aside the tenable fact that I graduated from University of Ibadan; a reputable frontier of knowledge where graduates worthy in character and sound judgment are groomed, I loathe activities capable of negating my integrity and hitherto spiting my father’s hard earned name. In all, I find it difficult to ascertain what individuals tend to gain from wanton damage to one’s reputation.
On Tuesday, the 14th of Oct, a friend of mine called my attention to an infamous viral piece that had spread like wildfire on the internet which detailed clusters of harmful and unjustified allegations about me. I thought it was a joke but after my swift internet view, I became utterly dejected and shocked to my bone marrow with my jaw dropped as I read every line of that shocking news.
Shortly, calls came flying in from friends, family and colleagues who knew I’d never ventured into such impish act. After listening to my side of the narration, Many urged me to sue for defamation while others besieged me to write a rejoinder. Apparently, they believed I was incapable of any iota of corrosive tendency.

For hours, I couldn’t even document anything but latter I summoned the strength of defending my cherished personality against parlous information on the internet. Thus I have these to reel off:
Sequel to the election, some Corp members approached me asking me about what they stand to get from the politicians and even went to the extent of gratuitously given them my phone number. In response, I apprised them in respect of pivotal responsibilities of Corp members explaining my position as being in Osun State to serve my fatherland and not to engage in political gimmicks. My words fell on deaf ears because their minds were made up that cash inflow from Osun state bigwigs is certain.
In the article released, I was accused that I bought a car and an apartment out of 2.3 million in this present Nigeria. How is that possible ? This calls for a logical reasoning… At present, I still stand not understand the poster’s definition of ‘Abscond’ because on the 26th of July, 2014, all the schools in Osun State went on holiday and out of 100% corp members in Iwo Local Government, 95% teach in secondary school (Place of Primary assignment). Also, Majority traveled because it’s a long break. That I as well did in a bid to meet my family. So, should I not have traveled to check on family and friends in Ibadan because I’m the CLO (Corper Liaison Officer) ? But mischief makers tagged my traveling as ‘Abscond’ even when schools resumed on the 8th of October, 2014.
As regards some salient issues raised in the detrimental report, here are fundamental questions a sound mind should ask:
1. What is the name of the benevolent politician who gave the money ?
2.What is the money meant for ?
3.Where did the person give me the money ?
4. When is the money paid ?
5. Who witnessed it ?
6. Is it INEC’s money or Corpers allowance ?
Conclusively, I’d like to reiterate that I am not privy or involved in this alleged sinister act capable of denting my name and that of my great citadel of learning, University of Ibadan and It must be noted that as a corp member, collection of any form of largesse from politicians is unreservedly wrong, baseless and punishable. That NYSC Statute, I never breached.
Thanks.
Abayomi Isaac Oyebukola
Some days ago, news went viral that the NYSC member, Abayomi Isaac Oyebukola with the NYSC code no Os/13c/1402, serving in Osun state was accused of stealing and fleeing with a sum of N2.3m meant for the 144 corps members that participated in the state’s gubernatorial election on the 9th of August.
According to reports, the Batch C corp member, Abayomi serving in Iwo local govt area of Osun state and also the Corps members’ Liason Officer (CLO) allegedly fled to Ibadan, Oyo state after stealing the money. With claims that he used the money to buy a car and an apartment with the hope of collecting his NYSC discharge certificate through the back door as they passed out this Thursday.
Apparently some aggrieved corps members posted the report on social media, Nairaland.

NFF Confirms Nike As A New Kit Sponsor

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has announced that the world’s leading football brand Nike is a new kit sponsor of men’s and women’s Nigeria national football teams.
In a series of tweets posted on April 23, the NFF even revealed some details of a new deal.

In August 2014 German-based sportswear giant, Adidas officially confirmed that it would not renew the deal with Nigeria. Following the expiration of the contract in December 2014, the NFF started looking for a new kit sponsor.
AMS Kit manufacturing company was rumored to be the new kit supplier for the national football team. The company reportedly displayed their proposed design for the Super Eagles on their social media feed saying their proposal is based on news of the Super Eagles yet to get a kit supplier.

However, Ademola Olajire, the NFF spokesman, did not confirm the information about a new kit sponsor, adding that the federation was still in talks with Adidas.
“We currently are in discussions with multiple parties regarding our kit situation.
“Despite receiving a notification letter from Adidas initially, we remain confident they could still reconsider their position,” he said.
When the NFF failed to bring Adidas to the negotiating table, there were allegations that the NFF would face so-called “kitting crisis” if they didn’t get deal before the first quarter of 2015.
Luckily, the federation  finally found a new sponsor that will be developing football kits for the men’s and women’s Nigeria national football teams from April 1, 2015, until at least 2018.
