Topic: PHOTO: Buhari’s Cancer Report Is Mischievous, Fake – Hospital (Read 5973 times)

The Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), has described the purported report said to have emanated from the hospital to the effect that the presidential flag bearer of All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari is stricken with prostrate cancer, the APC Presidential Campaign Organisation said on Saturday.

A statement by the Directorate of Media and Publicity of the APC Campaign in Abuja said: “It (report of cancer) is untrue and condescending of its exponents. I have it on good authority that GMB has not visited the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital in the last five years. So, how can anyone say that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer last October, barely three months ago?” Garba Shehu, Director, Media and Publicity of the Campaign said.

“This is the highest point of political distraction, malice and mischief. The report was not only fake but unfounded. I have spoken to impeccable sources at ABUTH all of whom deny the report and also claimed that the letterhead used was not their regular one, and that Dr. Bala Mohammed that purportedly approved the false Medical Report is not on the personnel list of that department,” he said.

Aside, Shehu said sources at ABUTH also disclosed that “Medical Report analysis only come from Laboratory Technologists and not Medical Doctors as handwritten in this particular case, stressing that General Buhari did not attend the hospital for cancer or any other ailment.”

Shehu also dismissed as figment of the imagination of “wicked and evil persons,” rumour that General Buhari may be travelling to the United States towards the end of this month for medical check up.

He restated its earlier statement on Friday that Buhari is as fit as a fiddle.

Shehu while dismissing the report as fabrications, however, said that “as a prominent leader of the opposition, many interests across the Globe want him (GMB) over for political and diplomatic consultations,”
adding that the “invitation to the US may not be unconnected to this.”

Topic: Obasanjo Supports Amosun: Says I’ll Support A Candidate Based On Performance (Read 5273 times)

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Friday again hinted where his vote will go in the February general elections, saying it is “performance” and not “party loyalty” that will inform his choice of who to support.

Obasanjo, who has not hidden his soft spot for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun state and incumbent, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, in the February 28 governorship election in the state, made his position known when Igbo leaders from Lagos and Ogun States visited him at his Presidential Hilltop Estate, Abeokuta, the state capital.

The Igbo delegation led by Chief Austine Nkeze, was in the former president’s residence to identify with him and seek his direction regarding the forthcoming elections.

In his address to the delegation, Obasanjo appealed to non–indigenes in Ogun State to re-elect Amosun so that the infrastructural, urban renewal projects being executed by the governor could be sustained.

Obasanjo said: “In 2011, we were not together, though we were together before and I did campaign against him. But, see what he has been able to do in the last three and half years in the state, I cannot sacrifice performance for party.

“I never dream of having a bridge on dry land in Ogun state in my life time. Yes, we have Ogun River, where there is a bridge, but on a dry land, go to Ijebu, Sagamu, Ota, what am I seeing, bridges, not even one, two, three.

“So, my people, I am not talking about other elections. I have come to tell you that in order to appreciate what this personality has been able to do in the last three and half years, let us give him our votes.

“If you do me this honour and things change, come and meet me and I will be responsible. But, because I know his personality, he will not. What happened in 2011 is politics, and we can all see the difference between politics and personality”.

What Diezani Alison-Madueke said this evening as she announced a reduction in fuel price...
Quote
As you may be aware, there has been a lot of volatility in the oil market in the past few months and due to this the importation prices of our petroleum products have been impacted.

Therefore, with the approval and directive of Mr. President and by virtue of Section 6 clause 1 of the Nigerian Petroleum Act, it is my responsibility as Minister of Petroleum Resources to hereby announce a reduction in the pump price of Petroleum Motor Spirit (Petrol) from the current Ninety Seven Naira (=N=97) per litre pump price down to Eighty Seven Naira (=N87=) per litre pump price, effective from twelve (12) midnight Sunday, 18th of January 2015.

Accordingly, I have directed the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) and the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) to ensure strict compliance of this price adjustment by all marketing companies.

It is my hope that all Nigerians will benefit from this adjustment.  I thank you and God Bless you all.

A Nollywood  close source, and I mean very close source just confirmed to me now that he is actually dead and his friends are trying to cover it up. Really sad. RIP Muna!

Obiekwe had been battling with kidney disease for a long time which he reportedly kept secret from his colleagues in the Nigerian entertainment industry…
Muna has been quietly battling this kidney disease but kept it hush hush from friends and colleagues.

Muna needed money for his health problems but instead of going public to raise money, he told friends he was planning a stage play to raise money but died before he could do it. Unbelievably sad!

Meanwhile, the fake twitter account that caused the chaos yesterday by tweeting that he was alive later confessed to be fake.

Topic: My Husband & I Married As Virgins, And Mind You We Weren’t Clueless- Nikki Laoye (Read 2558 times)

Nikki Laoye is still on her virgin spree talk! Nikki who once confessed she married has a virgin as revealed another shocker by declaring her husband was also a virgin too. She said though both of them had never experienced sex before marriage, the first night they made love, they weren’t clueless, Nikki says. Her words;
Quote
“My husband was not surprised that I was a virgin when we got married because he was also a virgin. Even though I was a virgin when I got married, I had equipped myself with information on sex education. I preach to Christian ladies that they should not think that because they are virgins, they should not find out how to get things done because when they get there, they have work to do. It has been fun and an adventure for us because we are finding out things about ourselves.”

“I decided to remain a virgin till I got married. I did not just want to be jumping from one man to another. It is often said that once you pop the cherry, you can’t stop and I did not want to deal with sexual issues while I was dealing with my life and education. I also did not want to get pregnant, so I told God to help me. I was tempted a lot but I was blessed to have wonderful relationships whereby the men respected my decision and even helped me to keep my promise. My husband also told me that he kept himself for a special woman. The truth is that now that I am having a lot of sex, I have come to realise that it is very emotional and it should be done with someone you will love to see the next day,”
she told Punch.

Topic: Politicians Are Liars - Pastor E.A Adeboye (Read 2189 times)

The General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Friday has said he does not trust politicians. Adeboye spoke in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, during a two-day interdenominational prayer.

According to the cleric, politicians in most cases hardly fulfil their promises. Adeboye illustrated his claim with the story of three travellers – an Indian, a Jew and a politician.

He said while the three men were travelling, they had a problem and went to a farmer for help, but the farmer said he could only accommodate two people.

Adeboye said the Indian volunteered to sleep in the barn, but returned few minute later that there was a cow there.

The Indian, according to the illustration, said he couldn’t sleep in the barn because cows were gods worshipped in his country.

The Jew also came back complaining that pig was inside the barn and that the place was dirty.

The politician also volunteered to sleep there, but instead of the politician to come back to complain, Adeboye said it was the pig and cow that came knocking that the politician should be sent away because he promised to make the environment, including the barn conducive with air-conditioner.

The cleric said, “I don’t trust politicians. Politicians are liars. They don’t fulfil most of their promises. A politician can tell you that they will give all of you (students) chicken each, which we all know it is impossible.”

The RCCG General Overseer, however, asked Nigerians to stop worrying themselves over who would emerge winner in the next general elections.

According to him, God is a master planner who has already planned the leadership development of Nigeria.

Adeboye said, “God has already planned who will be the President of Nigeria. God has already planned that before we were born. God is not like human beings who doubt what is to be done. He has plan for everything.”
