An angry man has flogged two lovers who were having sex in his mini-bus in Ajegunle area of Lagos State, on New Year’s Day.

LEADERSHIP investigation revealed that the duo, Ben and Ajoke, were caught in the act at about 1:30am in a Volkswagen Fanagon bus at Iyalode street by the owner of the vehicle who identified himself as Bashiru.

Ben and Ajoke were said to have left the scene of a carnival on the same street and decided to have
sex; unfortunately, it earned them the disgrace.

Bashiru disclosed that somebody told him that two lovers had sex in his vehicle during Christman eve celebration. The commercial driver said he had to set trap as he took the pains to wait patiently from a dark arena.

According to him:
“The two lovers were standing close to the vehicle as they talked and fondled each other. I later saw the man pushing the door of the vehicle aside. I knew they were the same people. I also suspected that they wanted to have carnal knowledge in the vehicle again.
So immediately they entered inside the bus, I quickly drew the attention of three strong men in my residence. We waited for some time before we struck. We beamed the torchlight and behold the two people were naked having sex. I decided not to take them to the police station but teach them the lesson of their lives.
I ordered them to lie down in their naked state and flogged them. The man received 12 strokes while the female, six. They were the same people that did same on Christmas Day celebration,”
he said.

Topic: Postpone February Polls By Six Months - Pastor Tunde Bakare Urges INEC (Read 3956 times)

CONVENER of the Save Nigeria Group, SNG, Pastor Tunde Bakare has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to postpone the February general elections by six months to enable it review the election timetable.

He spoke in Lagos yesterday in his state of the nation’s address with the theme, “The Gathering Storm and Avoidable Shipwreck: How to Avoid Catastrophic Euroclydon, at his church, the Latter Rain Assembly.

Warning of impending dangers for the country if the warning signals were ignored, Bakare said the only way to avert the storm was to urgently address some fundamental flaws in the polity.

He said: “I must state that the proposal for suspension of elections is not with a view to giving the president an avenue for undue tenure elongation but for the purpose of building a coalition that will bring lasting solutions to our problems.

“I have clearly painted a picture of where we are, a disaster is ahead of us. If the northerner emerges as winner, whether he has won that election fair and square or not, people will allege rigging. If Jonathan wins the election, fair and square, they will allege that he used his power of incumbency to rig the election.

“The weather is not conducive for any election in February this year for that matter and I have quoted the right sections of the constitution that empower the president and the National Assembly to extend the election for a six months, provided it is not to stay in power or to elongate but to be working critically to ensure that these things are put in place before we go to the elections. This is my considered opinion and I believe I have the spirit of God.
“In suspending the elections and to gain the support of all stakeholders, the president must not act with the intention to seek re-election. Rather, he should, within the period, commit himself to building a non-partisan coalition comprised of major stakeholders and competent statesmen from each geopolitical zone.
“This coalition, headed by the president, will constitute a combined force that will tackle terrorism and address what I have earlier referred to as the fundamentals, within a time frame of two years or less.”

According to him, these factors have directly and indirectly contributed to the current economic crisis, political instability, and the security situation in the country. He highlighted the problems which must be addressed to include “the awkward geopolitical structure of the federalism and the consequent lopsided economic structure in which a single product from one region of the country contributes the bulk of the revenue of the entire nation despite the abundant resources spread across the nation.”

Warning of the danger ahead as the country prepares for the elections, Bakare further lamented the level of preparedness of INEC as evidenced in the shoddy manner the distribution of the PVCs was being handled.

Topic: I’m Not Against President Jonathan: Vote For Candidates With Integrity -Obasanjo (Read 5923 times)

Former President Obasanjo has denied being against President Jonathan.
Quote
“I have no grudges against Jonathan and I think Jonathan equally has no grudges against me. I’m not quarrelling with Jonathan but all I know is that whatever is good for Nigeria, that I’m ready to die for,” he said.

“I emphasize that whatever is good for Nigeria, is what I’m ready to defend with my life. Whoever, I emphasize, whoever says he would not do anything good to Nigeria, even if he says he’s ready to go ‘konko below’, I’m ready to square it up with such a person. I say again, whoever that person may be, I want you to get that correctly. If this country is going to change for the better, it would start from the top and if it’s going to be otherwise, it would start from the top, too,” the former president stressed.

On the forthcoming election, Mr. Obasanjo said he’s not apprehensive as being speculated, just as he advised the electorates to vote for candidates with integrity and good records.

“I have no apprehension over this coming elections. I have no fears over the forthcoming elections. I have had some little experience about this country. I was a military head of state and I was also a civilian president, so what is left?’

“So, if I talk, I know what I’m saying. Whoever wants, should listen to me and whoever feels otherwise, may turn a deaf ear. But when I’m talking, I’m talking with my understanding and intellect. I’m drawing from my experience and from what I’ve learnt with others and from other countries and fellow eminent citizens of the world that I relate with. But leave all of that.

“Good governance comes from voting, from selection of leaders. It is now left to you to decide who you cast your vote for because if you throw away your votes and tomorrow you are saying good governance, once you throw away your votes you have lost out. That is one. Find out the track records of achievements of those you want to vote for. What have they achieved in the past and not what they have said’.

The 31-year-old highlife singer, we are told, is set to father his second child with former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant winner Anna Ebiere Banner. Weeks after welcoming his first child, Nigerian singer Chinedu Okoli, better known as Flavour, is expecting another baby with another woman, a former beauty queen. The 31-year-old highlife singer, we are told, is set to father his second child with former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant winner Anna Ebiere Banner.

The couple, who have on several occasions been reported to be in a romantic relationship, are said to have hit it off in mid-2014 and are very fond of each other. "You can’t get Anna to stop talking about Flavour, she’s madly in love with him. He’s very fond of her too. They look so perfect together," a source who knows the ex-beauty queen tells Pulse. Anna Banner, 19, is said to be two months pregnant. The beauty queen, who enrolled in the Middlesex University in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) back in September 2014 is currently holidaying in Nigeria Sources say she is however confused about the situation as the UAE frowns at pregnancy outside wedlock. "Anna is happy, she looks happy she's having the child for the love of her life. I just hope she can handle the whole thing, she's such a young girl," another source who knows the former MBGN tells us.
The couple made headlines in early December when Flavour released his much talked about ‘Golibe’ music video which starred Anna as the lead girl. The couple got married in the storyline of the video.
In September 2014, Flavour welcomed his first child with Sandra Okagbue, an ex-Delta Soap Queen. Okagbue who delivered the baby girl in Houston, US is said to have since returned to Nigeria. ‘Flavour is very much in contact with Sandra, she even pays him visits’, a source close to Flavour tells us.
We reached Flavour’s manager who neither confirmed nor denied the story but responded by saying he was not in the place to discuss his artiste’s personal life. ‘That’s not for me to talk about, I handle Flavour’s business aspect, his personal life isn’t part of that’, his manager told us over the telephone.
Anna Banner was not reachable as at the time of filing this report.

Topic: See What TV Star Shade Ladipo Has To Say About Toke Makinwa (Read 4897 times)

Shade Ladipo shared her view on Maggi brand ambassador /OAP at Rhythm FM Toke Makinwa-Ayida. Earlier today, Thisday columnist  Azuka Ogujiuba called Toke Makinwa ‘Fake‘
Quote
2014 was an eventful year and very few non-celebrities made it a very interesting year, one of them was Ms. Makinwa and since I get a lot of questions about her from my listeners, I have decided to help you explain what she did right, if you are Social Media Savvy and know whats happening in pop culture then my subject matter will be no stranger to you; Please continue…

5. Looking Good is Good Business.
Although everyone called Toke the MTN of 2013/2014, Mrs Ayida has proven that looking good is a definite step in being seen. Every event she appeared she looked like the belle of the ball from her hair to her nails and of course her clothes/shoes. Without a doubt if you want to be noticed then this is a very important step (If you can afford it of course)
Tip A: Get a stylist If you can afford one)
Tip B: Raid you friends and family’s wardrobe but please dont sleep with men for clothes and shoes oh

4. Social Media Ready
Without a doubt being social media ready is something everyone thinks they have on lock down but did you get noticed tho? From her Vlog to Instagram, Keek, Facebook et al, Toke was prepared for every opportunity to upload the right pictures (always taken properly) and every video seemed real and fun to watch
Tip A: Get a good phone (Samsung is probably the best, you can get 2nd hand from an uncle or father)
Tip B: Always have an attache friend who will always be willing to take all the pictures and make sure you pose plenty until you find the perfect picture, also make sure you post the picture before you go for the event and of course filter filter filter

3. Celebrity Friends Don’t hurt
Friendships are usually hard to cultivate in these days of over-exposure and ‘fakers’ but if you go the Toke way its possible to have almost every celebrity wanting to be in the same mix with you without even being as close and tight as everyone would think. Everyone likes a good support system and Toke seems to provide that with her various platforms and been available to meet and attend personal events of these celebrities and truly having some celebrity friends doesn’t hurt one bit (As long as you also have some value to provide them oh)
Tip A: Make friends with upcoming and insecure artistes, they are willing to be friends with almost everyone
Tip B: Target celebs that dont have cars or don’t have easy access to things you have access to

2. Live Your Life Like Its Glamorous
Toke seems to have a GLAM life and in the world of Social Media that is a big plus for getting the world to look in your direction. Even if she doesn’t have a glamorous life, from the outside it sure looks like it. So you want everyone looking then live it up, turn up with class, hang out with the hottest ladies, be seen at the IT events and trust me it all looks like you’re hotter than Kim K (You better have money to buy some event tickets oh)
Tip A: Every picture you post make sure you look like you’re having fun, laugh hard, stick out your tongue, cover your face with a cap, get a tattoo, anything that will make you look wanton and happy

1. Your personal Life is Up For Grabs As Long As You Make It Work For You
A lot of criticism followed Toke in 2014 on how much she over exposed her personal life but hey She don marry innit?? All I’m saying is as long as you make all the Negative/Positive Press work in your favor then that is a big WIN in my books because from the Looks of things Toke is still happily married and nowadays you don’t see anything unintentional in the Media about her personal life anymore. GBAM
Tip A: Take pictures with only the cute members of your family or preferably the yellow ones, cute babies and cute older uncles work
Tip B: Find a cute male friend, cover his face while sitting on his lap and call him Bae (also put a cute long story of how long you guys have known each other)
I know alot of people thought I would be all negative on this subject but far from been negative or positive I AM BEING OBJECTIVE

Toke Makinwa-Ayida is a celebrity by her own doing (and she didn’t need a sex tape to do it). Did she do some things wrong last year yes but she did a lot of things right plus she stepped up her Emceeing game last year as well (she even listened to me and has toned down the phonee lol)

There should be a manual on how to be a celebrity without actually being a celebrity and Toke should write it?.

Rumour has it that Ini Edo's Ex husband Phillips Ehiagwina is about to remarry a Nigerian based in Accra...According to the 'scoop' Phillips has reportedly moved on and is about to make the union official.
We made contact with Phillips on his Ghana number and asked him to step

Topic: PHOTOS: Rock That ‘Has An Image Of Jesus’ Discovered By Man In His Garden (Read 5300 times)

While digging a loo for his dog in his garden, a 54-year-old man from West Kilbride in Ayrshire, Scotland, known as Phil Coby, discovered something strange which turned out to be a rock with an apparition that looked just like the regular image of Jesus Christ with long hair and wearing a robe.

The discovery of the rock which was made before the Christmas day on Thursday, December 25, 2014 is already making waves as people referred to it as a ‘natural phenomenon, verging on a miracle.’

Coby who showed his son the rock after the discovery disclosed that his son confirmed it was an image of Jesus Christ.

According to Metro UK, Mr Coby found the dirty rock at a depth of two-and-a half feet in his back garden.

Although he categorically stated that there might really be no reason for the discovery  as suspected.
‘It was buried next to the roots of the trees. It must have been found for a reason. Other people might have thrown it away but I gave it a good rub,’ Mr Coby said.

‘I showed it to my son and asked “who is that?” He said “Jesus”.’

Topic: Nigerian Group In USA Wants UK & US To Deny Nigerian Officials Visa Over Gay Law (Read 1270 times)

I thought we have moved passed this. Months after it was passed in both the House of Representatives and the Senate, a bill that criminalizes homosexual relationships in Nigeria has been signed into law by President Goodluck Jonathan.

The President gave his assent to the bill, which stipulates lengthy jail terms, both for same-sex marriage and public expression of same-sex intimacy, despite pressure from local and international social rights and public health advocacy groups.

There have been criticisms of the law in Nigeria, where antipathy towards homosexuality and LGBT people, stoked by a convenient alliance of the state, the clergy, and the rump of the mainstream media, runs deep.

We, the undersigned, wish to ally ourselves with these voices of reason. We unreservedly condemn the Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Law and urge civil society and human rights groups to start a campaign that we hope will soon result in its abolition.

We also urge the eminent personages across the world who have condemned the so-called law to go beyond diplomatic gestures and put pressures on the Nigerian government wherever they can. Specifically, the United States and the United Kingdom should, forthwith, impose diplomatic sanctions (e.g., denial of visas) on all Nigerian functionaries, including journalists, the clergy, and policymakers associated with the passing of the law.

There are many reasons why every right-thinking person should oppose this law.

First, it is based on a spurious, uninformed and one-dimensional reading of ‘African culture.’ Second, it criminalizes a section of Nigerians for nothing other than their natural sexual inclination.

Third, it ignores the fruits of many decades of scientific research which proves decisively that homosexuality is as natural as heterosexuality. Fourth, the law threatens to reverse the gains made by programs aimed at fighting the HIV-AIDS epidemic in the country.

Fifth, it is absurd in terms of the jail time it stipulates for those who associate with LGBT people. Sixth, it casts Nigeria in a bad light for no good reason, putting it in the vulgar company of other countries where homosexuality is criminalized.

Seventh, it gives law enforcement agents an open check to go after innocent Nigerians in the name of upholding the law. Finally, the law impinges on Nigerians’ freedom of speech and association, and expressly violates the rights of minorities in a free and democratic society.

It is not the business of any state, let alone the Nigerian state, to interpose itself in the private affairs of two consenting adults. Any human act or practice that does not infringe on the freedom of others cannot and should not be criminalized. Homosexuality does not harm us as a society and people. It is the hypocrisy, venality, and corruption that pervade our society that are the source of our problems.

Topic: Let's Talk About President Jonathan's 22 Years Old Wedding Ring [Photos] (Read 3360 times)

Every married man or woman’s wedding ring is special but President Jonathan’s ring is among his most important jewels sentiments-wise because of its provenance and significance. But we don’t get to talk about Jonathan’s ring because there are so many other things people relate with away from this.
It’s not news that Jonathan met his wife Dame Patience Jonathan while he was a lecturer at the Rivers State College of Education, Rumuolumeni. At that time, Jonathan had just concluded his M.Sc programme, and was preparing for his doctorate. It was during this break that he got a job as a lecturer, teaching students preparing for Nigerian Certificate of Education(NCE) and the B.Ed. Degree, and Patience was one of them.
Jonathan later proposed marriage to her and in November 1993, having done the traditional Okrika marriage rites, the couple married at the Yenagoa registry which had his best friend HRH Amalate J. Turner as one of the witnesses. It was at the event they exchanged rings and Jonathan today still wears the simple yet timeless 22-year-old ring. As for the First Lady, her wedding ring is hardly noticed because she will rather do the cocktail rings.

Topic: Why I Quit My Marriage – Nollywood Actress, Moji Olaiya (Read 2538 times)

Since popular Yoruba actress, Moji   Olaiya, walked out of her marriage; it has been particularly difficult to track her down. Saturday Vanguard cornered her at an Inter House sports competition event in Gbagada, Lagos, where she was the matron of one of the Houses competing for prizes at the event.

Looking as pretty as ever, Moji decided to grant us an interview which unfolds some of the closed chapters in her life; career, marriage and religious beliefs:

Many actors have complained over time that the government has abandoned the film industry, in what respect can the government assist the industry?
I think with the aid of the government, we can overcome piracy. The government has failed to help the industry and that is not what is happening abroad. There are some who, however, make money from people in government.

Have you been a benefactor of such favour before?
No, I have not.

But you were appointed a brand ambassador in Ekiti state?
Yes, I am a cultural ambassador in Ekiti which happens to be a privilege bestowed upon me by the governor. It is a gesture to appreciate and recognise my cultural impact on the youths in the state and the country Nigeria at large.

Are you saying being an ambassador of that state has no monetary benefit?
Being a cultural ambassador of a state comes with the responsibility of promoting the state. It also means being a mentor to the youths and creating avenues for them to showcase their talents in the industry.

What are the things you will love to change in Nollywood?
Many of us lack discipline and the industry is now over flooded. In the past, people came into the industry because of the passion they had for acting but not anymore. Most of them now want to be famous quickly even when they do not have the talents. The ladies in particular, most of them go around almost naked. These ladies forget actors and actresses are like evangelists who preach through the television screen.

Have you ever felt like quitting acting?
Coming into the industry was borne out of passion, so I cannot quit acting for anything in the world.

Even marriage?
I can never quit acting for any marriage. I have said it in many interviews that even when I re-marry, the man will have to love me and my profession.

You once said you are an evangelist in one interview.
I have never said I was an evangelist. I only likened acting to preaching through our movies. So that is it.

You came into limelight in an English soap, Super Story, but now you feature more in Yoruba films.
I have many English soaps running at the moment so it is not as if I have left the English scene.

Are you a Muslim or a Christian?
I am a Muslim.

But you were once a Christian, what happened?
Yes, I converted. I fell in love with Islam. I am not saying Christianity is not an acceptable religion but as an adult, I am at liberty to choose any religion I like. I might decide not to practice any religion tomorrow.

Is this traceable to your background; having a Muslim mother that converted Christianity?
Somehow she might have influenced me because as a child I watched her go to the mosque five times a day. I love Islam; their mode of praying is peaceful. The religion does not have the denominational problem like Christianity. I can go into any mosque to pray any time.

What is your relationship with popular Victor Olaiya as some believe you are not his child?
I don’t want to say much about this. If these people say I am his niece, does that not also make him my relative. And as relatives, I can also call him father. So this issue is not logical regardless of their arguments. He is my father.

Which female accessories would you never be caught without?
My earrings and wristwatches.

Perfumes?
I am not addicted to any brand of perfumes. I go for any as long as it is a designer perfume and has nice fragrance.

How have you been coping after separation from your husband?
A woman needs a man in her life. There are things a man would do that you cannot do as a woman but I have no regret leaving my marriage.

Why did you say you have no regrets?
I have no regret leaving my marriage but I regret not being under a man’s roof. It is not respectable in this part of the world. But I try to comport myself even as a divorced woman and as a typical Yoruba woman and to avoid scandal. I have a daughter to protect and cater for.

What was the cause of your failed marriage?
The marriage was not working so I had to quit. My partner went as far as abusing me so I had to leave to protect myself and my daughter.

You mean domestic violence?
Yes, domestic violence is just the right word.

Any man in the picture at present?
I am in a relationship but I am yet to be legally separated from my husband.

Were you legally married?
Yes. So at the right time I will reveal who the man is. I need somebody beside me.

Is your new film, Monsurat, born out of your marital experience?
Our mothers tell us that being over protective of one’s husband does more harm than good. Monsurat is a story of a jealous woman who became a tigress in protecting her marriage. She went diabolical and this affected her husband’s business. Later on her husband found solace in the arms of another woman and that was how she lost all. It is a story meant to educate our women to keep their space in the hearts of their men.

Are you really a sport person?
I love sports and I still create time for it despite my busy schedules.

Which sport in particularly do you engage in?
I play Lawn Tennis and I swim very well.

On what ground did you become matron to the ‘Yellow House’ of the school?
I am very sure one of the criteria for making me a matron here was because I grew up in this environment. I stayed here for 32 years. Also the management of the school found me worthy to mentor the pupils and I am happy about that.

Are you a product of the school?
No, I am not.

What is your perception of life?
Life is interesting when you keep a free mind towards others. When you suspect everyone around you, you cage yourself and your feelings and it means you don’t trust yourself too. Whatever situation you find yourself, know that life will go on; it will only stop when you are tired of going on.

Topic: Lagos Barber Slashes A Girl's Neck For Refusing To Be His Girlfriend [Photos] (Read 3887 times)

Eighteen-year-old Boluwatife Ajadi had been looking forward to enjoying the New Year festivity with her family in peace and happiness, but she spent it in agony on a hospital bed, hanging on to life.

Boluwatife, who finished secondary school in September 2014, fell victim of a vicious attack by a scorned suitor, a young man who had been seeking her hand in a romantic friendship, around 11pm on December 30, 2014.

But the culprit, 21-year-old Sakiru Buari, insisted that Boluwatife was his girlfriend.

When our correspondent visited Samas Hospital, a private health facility in Baruwa area of Lagos, there was no way of speaking with Boluwatife. She had been unable to speak since the attack, her family said. The girl had been induced to sleep by the hospital staff.

Her elder sister, Adeola, who narrated what happened, said she had feared that her sister might not survive the attack which left a long and deep gash on her neck.

A picture of the fresh wound showed part of the girl’s neck, flesh that is almost the size of a palm, hanging loose.

“The man used a razor to cut her neck,” Adeola began. “There was no doubt that he actually wanted to kill her. It all started about 11pm when we were hearing a noise outside our house on Alhaja Wasilat Street, Baruwa. Someone was shouting ‘thief, thief’ and we all rushed outside but I did not realise my sister was not inside with us.

“When I went outside, I saw someone staggering towards us holding her neck. She was struggling to call for help. By the time I realised it was my sister, she collapsed on the ground.”

Saturday PUNCH learnt that soon after the attack, neighbours who had heard Boluwatife’s initial alert for help, were able to catch Buari who had attempted to flee at the time.

“When they caught him, the man was even saying that he regretted that she did not die. All I could do was scream for help as I went to where my sister collapsed.

“At that time of the night, nobody was willing to help us. No vehicle stopped for us to take her to the hospital. At a point, I had to go to the middle of the road pleading for help.“Eventually, a young man at the scene picked her up from the ground and carried her towards the nearest hospital with the help of other eyewitnesses.”

By the time Boluwatife got to the hospital, she had lost so much blood that her soaked clothes were dripping blood, it was learnt.

Banging on the door of the hospital with screams, those who carried Boluwatife were admitted into the compound as the doctor on duty went to work on the barely conscious girl.

Adeola, said she had never seen the man who attacked her sister before that day and was sure he was not her sister’s boyfriend.

“The man must not escape justice,” she said.

Their father, Gabriel, said he was not at home at the time of the attack but could not imagine what could have pushed the man to want to kill her daughter.

He said, “I even thought she was dead when I was called to the scene and saw the amount of blood on the ground.

“The place looked like a slab where an animal had been slaughtered. We are lucky that residents of our street called the beast who did this to my daughter.

“He said it to my face that he had no regret for what he did and was even angry that she survived the attack. At least, we are happy that he had confessed to the attack and we cannot wait to see him off to jail.”

The police at the Ipaja Division, Baruwa, have taken Buari into custody with promises that the suspect would be prosecuted appropriately since he had confessed to the crime.

The Divisional Police Officer, Mr. Ajewole Adebayo, a Chief Superintendent of Police, said Buari would be transferred to the Department of Criminal Investigations, Yaba, Lagos, as soon as his men had finished their part of the investigations.

When our correspondent and child and woman rights activist, Esther Ogwu, visited the police division, Buari, who was still wearing the clothes soiled with bloodstains, had caked blood on his hands.

“I don’t know what came over me at the time,” he said.

The young man who said he was from Abeokuta, Ogun State, explained that he dropped out of school in senior secondary year one.

“She is my girlfriend and I don’t have any reason to kill her. We did not fight. I just don’t know the spirit that came over me at the time I brought out a razor and slashed her neck. I know now that what I did was terrible,” he said, as he looked away .

Buari said both his parents were dead and that the only known relation he had was in Abeokuta.

He said he works as a barber even though he did not have a shop of his own.

Ogwu, who has taken over the girl’s case, said that the most important evidence of the case would be the explanation of the victim herself.

“Unfortunately, she is not in any condition to speak at this time. But like every case of assault involving women, we would ensure that the girl gets justice in this case,” she said.

“I am sixteen and have already lost my virginity. I truly regret that my first time was with a guy that I didn’t care that much about. Since that first night he expects s*x on every date. When I don’t feel like it, we end up in an argument. I don’t think this guy is in love with me, and I know deep down that I am not in love with him either. This makes me feel cheap. I realize now that this is a very big step in a girl’s life. After you have done it, things are never the same. It changes everything.” Since then I have been involved with other guys and I have learnt a few of lessons. Here are a some:

1. Many teenage girls sleep with guys because they are trying to find love, to find self-worth. But the catch is that the more guys they sleep with, the less self-worth they had.

2. Many girls think that if they really care about guys, s*x will bring them closer together. Indeed, s*x creates a bond. However, 80 percent of the time, the physical intimacy of first s*xual relationship won’t last more than six months.

3. Couples who want what is best for their relationship or future marriage will have the patience to wait.

4. Most of the time, when a girl gives away her virginity, she assumes the relationship will last forever. But study of more than 10,000 women shows that when a girl loses her virginity at that age at 14, she’ll probably have about thirteen more lifetime s*xual partners.

5. Teen s*x frequently causes tension within families because of the dishonesty that usually accompanies the hidden intimacies. Relationships with friends are often strained, and when things turn sour, the gossip and social problems often become unbearable.

6. Everyone talks about how hard it is to say no to s*x, but no one tells you how hard it is when you say yes.

7. It is dangerous for a teenage girl to be sexually active. Because a teenage girl’s reproductive system is still immature, she is very susceptible to sexually transmitted diseases

8. In fact, early s*xual activity is the number one risk factor for cervical cancer, and the second is multiple s*xual partners. A girl’s body, like her heart, is not designed to handle multiple s*xual partners.

9.While a girl might plan on sleeping with only one guy, she could be exposing herself to the STDs of hundreds of people through a single act of intercourse. Here’s how: Scientists studied the s*xual activity of a public high school of about one thousand students. About half (573) of the students had been sexually active, and most of them had only been with one partner. However, when the scientists tracked the web of s*xual activity among the students, it was discovered that more than half of the sexually active teens—without knowing it—were linked together in a network of 288 partners within the school! So if a girl slept with a guy from this school, theoretically she could be in bed with one-fourth of the entire student body.

10.The emotional side effects of premarital s*x are also damaging to a young woman. One of the most common consequences of teenage s*xual activity is depression. Girls who are sexually active are more than three times as likely to be depressed as girls who are abstinent. In fact, the condition has become so predictable that the American Journal of Preventive Medicine recommends to doctors:

Topic: Man Beheads Mother With Axe On New Year’s Eve For Nagging (Read 4612 times)

Christian Jose Gomez, a schizophrenic Florida man decapitated his mother with an ax on New Year’s Eve because he was fed up with her nagging, US authorities and media said Thursday.

Christian Jose Gomez, 23, was arrested and charged with first degree murder after admitting to killing his mother, Maria Suarez-Cassagne, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Police in the city of Oldsmar went to the woman’s house after a relative called to say Gomez “had cut her head off,” the sheriff’s office said.

He then dumped her body near the home’s garbage cans and disappeared on a bicycle before police caught him.

“He just left the body sitting there, next to the trash can, went into the garage, tried to clean up the scene a little bit,” Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri told NBC News.
“When he saw that wouldn’t happen is when he left.”

According to several US media outlets, authorities said Gomez is a diagnosed schizophrenic.

Gualtieri told WFLA television that Gomez had killed his mother, because he was upset she had been asking him to put some boxes in the attic.

“Because he was mad at her … he planned her murder for two days,” Gualtieri said.

The murder weapon, an ax, was recovered.
