Titi Branch, one  of the co-founders of the wildly successful natural hair care line, Miss Jessie’s, has died. According to reports, the 45 year old beauty entrepreneur committed suicide on Dec. 4th at her home but her death was kept hush hush until this past weekend.The graduate of the University of Maryland, who created the haircare line with sister Miko, also ran a popular New York salon. The branch sisters started their haircare line about 10 years ago and catered mostly to ethnic and curly hair types. There are reports that Titi was battling with depression before taking her own life. RIP, lady!

APC Presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari has chosen erudite scholar, former Attorney General of Lagos state, and Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Prof. Yemi Osibajo as his running mate for next year's general election. Professor Yemi Osinbajo is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN and Senior Partner in the Law firm of Simmons Cooper Partners. Yemi Osibanjo is a professor of law and was the head of department of Public Law at the University of Lagos (1997-1999).

His tertiary education was at the University of Lagos and the London School of Economics and Political Science obtaining the LLB and LLM degrees respectively.
Previously served as the Special Adviser to the Attorney General of Nigeria (1988-1992), he later became the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Lagos State in 1999 reappointed for a second term in 2003. During the period of his public service, he commenced the Lagos State justice reform project. A prominent feature of that project was the establishment of the Directorate for Citizens’ Rights (DCR) which provides free legal services and legal representation to indigent citizens of the state. This initiative gave a voice to many who would otherwise not have a way to access their rights.
Prior to that appointment, Osinbajo, a Professor of Law, was the Head of Public Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos.
He is also the Ethics Adviser to the Advisory Board of the African Development Bank and is a non-executive Director of Citibank. He has served in various roles within the United Nations, United Nations Centre on Transnational Corporations, the United Nations African Institute for Crime Prevention, the International Criminal court for Rwanda in Arusha, Tanzania, the department of Peacekeeping operations and the United Nations Peace Operations in Somalia.
Prof. Osibajo is Co-founder & Board Member Convention on Business Integrity and the Justice Research Institute Ltd. In 2007, Prof. and his wife Oludolapo founded “The Orderly Society Trust”, a non-governmental organization that is dedicated to the promotion of Christian ethics and orderliness.
Professor Osibajo has authored, co-authored and edited several books and publications including “The Unification and Reform of the Nigerian Criminal Law and Procedure Codes” ; “Law Development and Administration”; “The Annotated Civil Procedure rules of The Superior Courts in Nigeria”; and “Cross Examination: A Trial Lawyer’s Most Potent Weapon”.
He also pastors at Olive Tree House of Prayer for All Nations, Banana Island, a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and lives in Lagos with his wife and three children.

A teenager who belongs to a cult group is in trouble for organising his friends to gang-rape his girlfriend.

An 18-year-old teenage boy, Oluwole Seyi, a suspected cultist, is now in very big trouble after he arranged with three of his cult friends to gang rape his 16-year-old girlfriend and her friend, for daring to suggest she wanted to call the relationship.



The incidence, according to Vanguard Newspaper, happened in Ondo town in Ondo State, south-west Nigeria.

The young girl who has been in a relationship with Seyi for over two years, was said to have got fed up with his character and wanted to break free but he managed to lure her into a trap where he and his friends, Olayinka Andrew, 18, Tobi Akindolapo, 17, and Ayomide Akinbumi, all members of a cult group, took turns to rape her. Her friend who accompanied her, was not spared in the sexual assault as well.

The newspaper learnt that the victim was deceived by her boyfriend who allegedly told her they were attending a party in the town that night and invited her along.

But unknown to her, the boyfriend had allegedly arranged with his friends to commit the dastardly act. On getting to the venue of the said party, the victim was said to have become apprehensive when there were no signs that a party was in the offing.

She reportedly raised eyebrows over the mode of dressing of her boyfriend and his friends who allegedly put on black shirts and trousers with red scarfs on their heads.

But things took a turn for the worse when the boys pounced on her and her friend and forcefully took turns to rape them.

The victims who bled profusely during the ordeal, later reported the incident to an elderly woman in the town who reported the case to the police and the suspects were arrested.

The Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Wole Ogodo, confirmed the incidence and said the suspects are being detained having made statements to the police, confessing that they did rape the girls, and that pending the conclusion of investigations, they would be charged to court.

The police image maker alleged that the boyfriend, Seyi, confessed to be involved in stealing and rape, among other vices, and that he was initiated into the Eiye confraternity in Lagos.
