According toThe Guardian, Leicester City sensation Jamie Vardy has signed a new contract that will expire only in 2019.
The source also reports that Vardy, who currently earns £40,000 a
week on a deal that has the best part of two and a half years to run,
has been given a significant salary hike as a reward for his remarkable
progress.
In May 2012, Vardy signed for Leicester City in the Football League
Championship for a non-league record transfer fee of £1 million, and
represented the club in the Premier League after winning the
Championship in 2014. Vardy made his international debut for England in
2015.
