Manchester United manager, Louis van Gaal has revealed that he wants to leave the English giants in no too distant future.
The former Barcelona coach stated that he needs to sign a superstar in the mould of Cristiano Ronaldo in order to achieve his primary ambition of winning the Premier League before he leaves Manchester United in two years.
In an interview with Sky Sports News HQ’s Vinny O’Connor, the former Holland manager admitted that two years is the time limit he has given himself to win the Premier League title, after which he will walk away from the club, whatever happens.
Louis van Gaal, the Manchester United manager, has revealed that he could leave the club in the next two seasons

He said:“I think we still need more speed in front and also more creativity and that is why I want (Angel) Di Maria to stay, but, we don’t know that so we will have to see.
“Bayern Munich – they have Ribery and Robben. Chelsea have Hazard and Willian. Real Madrid: Ronaldo and Bale. Barcelona: Neymar and Messi.
“(Ashley) Young and (Juan) Mata had fantastic seasons with assists and goals but to win the Champions League, you need speed also. That is why I think, maybe, we still have to buy a player with speed and creativity.”
On whether he wants Di Maria to stay at Manchester United, van Gaal stated that, “I cannot answer these questions. When we shall buy a player and he has signed, then we shall say. But not in a process and not in a strategy.
“I cannot say that. I want to say it. For the fans I want to say it. But it is not smart. I have to protect the interests of the club.”
On whether he can sign Real Madrid’s Ronaldo, he said: “Now, I make an exception for Ronaldo. He is a fantastic player. But he knows that. But I like him.

“I promised that to my wife. We have not many years together any more.
“I have to admit I have said to her when I met her and after our relationship seemed to be very good, then I said at 55 years I shall quit. Now I am still working and next week I am 64.
“I have done everything in my career as a manager. I have been in the Netherlands, my home country. I have been in Spain, fantastic league. Germany, fantastic league. Now I am here.
“Also to participate in a world championship. I have done that. So, I have to go to Qatar to earn still more money? I don’t think so. You have to enjoy also your life and your relationship with your wife.”
Recall that the club was recently d.

Montreal Impact of the Major league Soccer (MLS) on Monday night announced the signing of one of the greatest African footballers ever; Didier Drogba.
The club announced the two time African footballer of the year would be a designated player, following a trade with the Chicago Fire, in return for general and targeted allocation money.
Naij.com hence compiles a list of the biggest African footballers to have played of still playing in the league.
1. Obafemi Martins – Nigeria: Nigerian striker, Obafemi ‘Obagoal’ Martins left Levante of Spain in 2013 to sign for Seattle Sounders of the MLS and in 62 games, he has scored . He moved after Seattle paid the $4 million buyout clause in Martins’ contract with Levante. In his two years with the club, MArtins has won the Supporter Shield; he provided the assist for Marco Pappa’s first goal as Seattle defeated the Galaxy 2–0. He finished his first season  with 17 goals during the regular season (a club record) as well as notching 13 assists, a joint-club record held with Mauro Rosales.
In his second season with the club he was named as one of three MLS MVP finalists. Martins was named to the MLS Best XI and the Sounders won every game in which he scored. He also won MLS Goal of the Year for a looping goal he shot from an extremely tight angle near the end line into the far netting over Earthquakes keeper Jon Busch.
Didier Drogba – Ivory Coast: A new signing in the league and already one of the biggest imports into the league. He is yet to play a game but he will sign on the dotted line when his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and his Canadian work permit issues are sorted out. The two-fime African footballer of the year has played for clubs such as Chelsea of England, Galatasary, Le Mans, Olympique De Marseille and Shanghai Shenhua of China.
Bright Dike: The Super Eagles striker plays for San Antonio Scorpions on loan from Toronto FC.  He is cousin of Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike. He has played his entire professional career in the USA where he was born and raised. He has played for the Portland Timbers, Indiana Invaders, Toronto FC and Los Angeles blues.
Nigerians will most likely remember him for his goal against Italy in a pre-world cup friendly match (his first official goal for the Super Eagles) in the 35th minute with an assist by Shola Ameobi.
His sister Courtney is also a soccer player, who played for the Nigeria women’s national under-20 football team the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Canada.
Djimi Traore – Mali: it seems funny to imagine that Djimi Traore started in that magical night in Istanbul in 2005 when Liverpool came from three goals down to draw 3-3 with AC Milan a UEFA Champions league final. Traore contributed to Liverpool’s success that season when he made a goal-line clearance from an Andriey Shevchenko strike.

Traore moved to the Seattle Sounder of the MLS on 23 February 2013 when he MLS club signed with the MLS club after a successful preseason trial. His first goal for the club was a 30 yard volley off the underside of the crossbar, during a CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal match against Tigres of Mexico.
The Malian won the MLS supporters shield in 2014 as a teammate of Obafemi Martins. He played for Monaco, Marseille, Charlton Athhletic and Portmouth. He retired in 2014.
Celestine Babayaro – Nigeria: Babayaro is a former Chelsea and Newcastle full back  who on 21 January 2008, came to an agreement with the Los Angeles Galaxy to join them on a three-year contract, effective immediately. His stay was however short lived due to bad behaviour and other demeanors.
According to Wikipedia: “…thinking that he had arrived at sort of an American superclub that only a year earlier gave David Beckham what was widely reported to be the $250 million contract, Babayaro was agitated by what he considered to be “shabby” accommodations – from having to fly in the economy class to sharing a hotel room on the road. His lack of commitment in training and preseason games reflected those feelings and he soon got on Gullit’s and club president and general manager Alexi Lalas’s bad side.
On 3 March, Babayaro was waived by the Galaxy after playing only 45 minutes in a preseason friendly against FC Seoul, receiving a yellow card and conceding a penalty in the process. The reason for this unexpected release was not stated explicitly by Galaxy front office. “After a period of evaluation, it was decided that it would be in the best interest of the club and the player to part ways,” Lalas said in a statement. “It is unfortunate that it did not work out, but Ruud and our technical staff are hard at work putting together this team and difficult decisions have to be made.”

Following Sunday’s 0-1 loss to Arsenal in the Community Shield preseason friendly, Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, has stated that his team was better than Arsenal.
According to BBC Sports, the former Real Madrid of Spain coach threw a jibe at his Arsenal counterpart, Arsene Wenger, stating that the Frenchman ignored his philosophy of free flowing football for a defensive approach to the encounter.
“The best team lost. And the defensive team won. If you want to be pragmatic, like I normally am, I say in a simple way, they score, they didn’t concede. Well done. Congratulations,” he said.

“Other clubs, other managers you say are boring, that they park the bus, I don’t agree with that. I say they were very well organised and because of that I give total credit,” the Chelsea boss noted further.
Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, snubbed Arsene Wenger, during last weekend’s Community Shield loss to Arsenal
On the purported handshake snub of Wenger in the former Monaco gaffer’s first ever win against the self-styled “Special One”, the Chelsea coach denied ever coming up with such tantrum, claiming however, that his counterpart may have done that purposely.
Since February last year when Mourinho called Wenger “a specialist in failure”, and the Arsenal boss replying that his Chelsea counterpart was being “disrespectful”, the pair have had tensions mounting.
And after Arsenal’s win on Sunday, Mourinho shook hands with the Arsenal players after they had collected the shield but missed Wenger when the Frenchman walked behind him.
Wenger said: “I shook a few hands today after the game, but there’s nothing special there. I believe in a job where you have to respect people and respect everybody.”

And Mourinho explained what happened, or did not happen, to BBC Radio 5 live reporter Juliette Ferrington thus:
JF: “You shook the hands of all the Arsenal players after they were presented with the shield but you didn’t shake the hand of Arsene Wenger?”
JM: “It is not true, It is not true. You have to look at it and it’s not true.”
JF: “We saw you.”
JM: “No you didn’t. You saw me wait for them and shake the hands of everyone who left the stairs just in my direction, so you are not right.”
Mourinho had blasted the Frenchman players.
