Not because their opinions matter but because I even have to deal with it in the first place and most of the time it feels surreal. I understand that not everyone will like me, so they will use anything they can against me. I probably wouldn't care if it was something I actually did. Then I'll accept that It is what it is. I wish I could explain the feeling of being wrongly accused in that magnitude. It's like a million welts digging deep at your soul, and no one seems to understand you. To some it's funny, to some it's a headline, to me, it's reassurance I have to give my son that a nasty rumor was badly mismanaged. It's the explaining I will be doing in the years to come. It's irritating when it keeps popping up and I have to turn the other cheek but I'm learning each day to always keep my cool. I'm happy and content but also human. Excuse me if I react sometimes to stupidity thrown in my direction.. God gave me a fresh start and for that I should be grateful.. Apologies if I disappointed anyone by clapping back.....I promise next time to try harder to ignore and hopefully this will be the last of it... Xoxo #Osha"

A High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered the Nigeria Police as well as the Customs to seize ‘MY WATCH’, a book by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Justice Valentine Ashi in her verdict on Wednesday said Obasanjo disobeyed the court order by publishing the book after he was told not to.

Ashi said: “I am of the view that the defendant having gone ahead to publish the book, he should therefore show cause within 21 days of the order served on him on why he should not be punished for contempt of court.

“The Inspector-General of Police, the Director-General of State Security Services and the Controller General of Nigeria Customs Services are hereby directed to recover the book from sales vendors.”

The judge further directed that the book should be kept with the registrar of the court pending the determination of the suit.

Earlier, counsel to Obasanjo, Realwan Okpanachi, had told the court that the book was published before the order was granted.


He argued that the book had been in circulation since November and the order was made on December 5.

Police Command in Kano State has confirmed the death of six persons, including two female suicide bombers following a twin blast at Kantin Kwari market, Ibrahim Taiwo Road, Kano on Wednesday.

The Police Commissioner in the state, Mr Aderenle Shinaba, confirmed the figures while briefing newsmen at the scene of the incident.

He explained that the incident happened around 3:30 p.m. when the two female bombers in Hijab and wanted to enter a branch of Unity Bank near the market area.

He said that the security men attached to the bank stopped them because they saw them as people who should not have anything to do with the bank.

“They later moved away toward the market area and asked for public utility and immediately after, one of them detonated the bomb.

“Shortly after the first one was detonated, the second one went off and as a result six persons died including the bombers,” he said.

He said that seven other persons were also injured during the incident and had since been taken to hospital for treatment.

“We have also taken the dead ones including the two suicide bombers to the morgue,” the commissioner said.

He said that the area had been cordoned off to prevent hoodlums from using the opportunity to loot property at the market.

Shinaba said that the security agencies were working in conjunction with officials of the market traders to prevent people from coming under the pretext of sympathising with people to loot in the market.

“The police ordinance unit are already working to ensure that there was no laden explosives hidden somewhere in the market,” he said.

He also called on people to be more security conscious in order to check the activities of insurgents in the state.

One Mrs Caroline Anande, a widow with seven children has narrated how her younger sister was shot in the mouth by armed robbers, to Us. Read the report below:
Geri could not talk to us, but could only write down responses relating to the incident, because her tongue was almost cut off, her mouth terribly wounded by bullets robbers shot at her mouth. She could not turn her head either because the bullet hit part of her neck. She lay helplessly in bed with sanitary tissues stuffed into the mouth to suck up saliva that drips uncontrollably from there. She indicated that they had lived in the same area of Abuja for over five years. Geri’s trouble further burdens her elder sister whose late husband was buried just three months ago. “My heart is heavy, I am heartbroken looking at my sister lying in pains, she was supporting me immensely with the little income since my husband died.  We had been managing to cope with our lean resources until armed robbers surfaced to wipe sleep away from our eyes.” This poor widow explained that Geri, always leaves home at 4:30am for work, though she left at 5am that morning, because of the daily traffic on the Nyanya-Mararaba express But she couldn’t get to Abuja-Keffi expressway to board a bus that will convey her to town that day. “My sister testified after regaining consciousness on a written note, how a masked armed robber snatched her phone and handbag. Thereafter, commanded her to undress, she pleaded with them, they were two men the unmasked man was behind backing them while the operation was going on. But, they shouted at her to undress amid her pleas explaining that she was menstruating. But these evil agents insisted on molesting her In the struggle, she screamed loud in fear for help, and that angered the armed man wearing mask that shot a bullet into her mouth and vanished, leaving her unconscious and bleeding. It was an okada rider residing within their vicinity that called to inform the sister of the incident.

Jolly Tumuhirwe the Uganda maid who was captured on film battering a little girl a few weeks ago pleaded guilty to child abuse in court today Dec. 8th . The 22 year old maid, who was in court with her mum, asked her parents, the girl's parents and all of Uganda to forgive her.
According to the reports, the little girl's father Eric Kamanzi broke down in tears when Jolly asked for forgiveness. Jolly faces up to 15 years in prison for the crime or a fine of about $400 (£260) or both. Her case was adjourned to Wednesday December 10th when the judge is expected to sentence her. She was led away in cuffs by prison officers after the session this morning.

Micheal had an argument with his landlady over N200 around 9pm on the 6th of December, 2014 which made her allegedly ordered her thugs (one OmoJesu and others) to beat Micheal up before he passed on in the process.
The case is already at Alonge Police Station, but Mrs Idowu Adenekan has been quoted to have said Micheal only died for nothing, because she is untouchable and there's nothing anyone can do to her. The police have also been accused of taking sides and doing little or nothing about the matter because of the woman's connections. Too sad!

Topic: PDP Gubernatorial Aspirant Wore Bullet Proof Vest To Lagos Primaries (Read 8374 times)



One of the PDP Governorship aspirants, Babatunde Gbadamosi, popularly known as BOG, told journalists he wore a bullet proof vest to the primaries to avoid being hit by a stray bullet from the violence earlier today.

Although the party leadership had blamed the incident on thugs from the opposition party, Mr. Gbadamosi said it was PDP thugs that were responsible for the violence.

“I am wearing the bulletproof vest because I am afraid of being shot at but I am urging all my supporters to come and should not be intimidated,” he said.

“There is fear of intimidation and some people in the party want to intimidate the delegates but we will ensure that everyone will vote fearlessly and as it pleases them.”

He described as “unfortunate” the decision by the party leadership in Lagos to support Jimi Agbaje.

When asked if he was confident of winning, he said, “Would I have paid over N11m to purchase the form if I was not confident?”

Extracts from the three-volume autobiography of Obasanjo, titled, “My Watch” revealed how critical he is of Jonathan’s administration. “Five presidents in Nigeria, these were his wife, Deziani, Oduah, Ngozi, Goodluck Jonathan and that he was the weakest of the five,” Obasanjo said in ‘My Watch’.


Obasanjo also said Jonathan is incapable of governing well because he his selfish, weak-willed, callous and incapable of rising to the challenges of running a complex country like Nigeria.

According to SaharaReporters, an attempt by Buruji Kashamu, a senatorial aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun state and a close associate of President Goodluck Jonathan, to stop the publication of a three-volume book by Obasanjo, appears to have failed as the book is set to go into circulation in the coming days.

A source close to Obasanjo has confirmed that copies of the former president’s exhaustive autobiography were already available to buyers in print and electronic form.
