THE decomposing remains of two lovers, simply identified as Udogi Eguke and Ese, were found on Sunday, days after they died in mysterious circumstances in their Makolomi Street apartment of Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The house owner, Chief Alfred Onavwa, who shares the top floor of the one-storey building with one of the deceased, confirmed the incident.

He said having been contacted on the absence of one of the deceased by neighbours, he called his line only to realize that his mobile phone was ringing upstairs.
He explained further: “On getting close to the door of the private stairway leading to their apartment, I noticed that it was locked from inside, with a stench oozing out.

“On realizing this, I personally invited the police who came and broke the door only to discover their decomposing bodies.
“Their remains were later deposited in the mortuary and I was made to understand that investigation into the matter was ongoing.
“Even the Ughelli Divisional Police Officer was here to see things for himself.”

Meanwhile, findings revealed that the couple, whose wedding was slated for November 22, had started preparation, with invitation cards already sent out to intending guests.

The last has definitely not been heard about the matter about the brewing beef between pop stars, Wizkid and Saeon.

The drama all began when Saeon lashed out at Wizkid for not being polite enough to help promote the song, ‘Boogie down’ across his social media accounts.

Wizkid responded by saying Saeon is not his friend and he even gave her a fair deal by featuring on her song while threatening to beat her up.

Shedding more light on what really transpired between both parties, Saeon’s former manager who was in charge of the self styled Omo Ibadan’s dealings at the time the deal transpired, Alex Adegbenro who is now resident in UK, has granted an exclusive interview to a UK based radio station.

When he spoke with ‘Chi Chi’ on air last week, Alex said: ‘I can’t really say much as well, I recently started getting calls from people too asking me what’s going on between Saeon and Wizkid, so I decided to go online to get myself informed as well, and lo and behold I found a video of Wizkid talking about Samklef and Saeon. Contrary to Wizkid’s claims, Saeon at no point made any contact with the kid, until I set up a first meet up.

Speaking further, Alex only stopped short of branding Wizkid a serial liar by saying: ‘It’s funny when he said she slept in front of his house to beg him, I feel that’s a figure of speech and I feel it’s still wrong for him to say that. She never had his contact, he also forgot that he started the same way, sleeping at OJB’s studio crying after M.I and so on. As a matter of fact, myself and his manger were the ones discussing, his manger, Godwin Tom gave us a fee, we disagreed with the fee and told him what we could afford was N1.5 million and then he came back to us and said they’ll take it.

‘Here’s what I think, Wizkid has contradicted himself already, he’s either not a thinker, or he has consumed himself with so much pride. Why would she pay you and then beg you. The irony of it all was that Saeon didn’t actually want to record with Wizkid, after paying, it took about a month to record the song because he was travelling a lot for shows.’


With Wizkid having claimed that he charges as much as N10m for a collaboration, Alex continued in the lengthy interview that Saeon would have spent the money on something else if Wizkid had not been paid at the time.

‘She wanted to use the money in putting out an EP, but when Wizkid got back, we pressed on getting the job done because he had been paid, now I’m not saying he was obligated to tweet about the song because I think that’s what started the whole thing, but coming from someone who was adamant about us shooting a music video so he could benefit from it.

‘And the one that got me was when he said he was going to beat her up. Saeon didn’t even get to meet him or talk to him until the day they recorded together in the studio. And I remember he gave us a list of producers he could work with, he said it was either, Samklef, Sarz or Maleek Berry and we picked Sarz and then when he heard the beat Sarz made, he didn’t like it, so he called Sarz and was like ‘dude, you know my new sound, why do you keep making beats like this.’ So we went back the second time and Maleek Berry just laced a beat and the song happened like a freestyle. I’m just a bit disappointed in him, I personally think the part of his statement where he said he would beat up Saeon shouldn’t be left alone. Well, if you look at it on the bright side, I think this whole thing has helped Saeon.’...

How can we forget Nollywood actress Chika Ike's getaway which saw the star journey from Dubai to Turkey along side her manager Serah Donald.
Well former Nollywood director, turned writer Charles Novia couldn't, and wrote  an article titled 'Of Flavour's flaunt, Yachting holidays and Range Rovers", which he posted yesterday.
Here is an extract from the article.
"It all boils down to my point. And by the way, that picture I saw of the yacht is suspect. The damned thing looked like a cruise boat which the obtuse PA might have mistaken for a yacht though. Anyway, my point is, in this clime we live in, our so-called celebrities, coming from a background of social, material and emotional deprivation just have to force the public to know that they have arrived. So, a boat trip, a helicopter ride, a breakfast in a 3 star hotel lobby and a personal scratch on the ass must make the news at all costs’
It didn't sit well with Serah and Chika, so Serah replied on their behalf.Ah hh Charles Novia.  Why the beef? I understand your pains that after years spent in the industry you  have nothing to show for it and have resorted to getting fame with celebrities names. Oh well! let me grant you the  audience of having your fifteen minutes fame as usual.

Trying to resurrect your dead career by trying to be a critic or will I say a hater.
Before you hate why not at least do a proper research. First you called a yacht, a cruise boat. I laughed at first but I understand that you have not experienced the luxury of being in a Yacht to know the difference between a boat and a yacht. You  called Jumeirah  beach hotel a 3 star hotel? my guy I forgive your ignorance ,how will you know the difference when you have  not even been in a two star hotel how much more a five star hotel.
You call me Chika Ike's personal Assitant ,that really got me laughing hard because I know that you know I am her manager and her publicist a position you will give  your life to attain at lease to make some money for your self and take expense paid trips vacation.
I remember clearly that you met me in California when you came for Nollywood convention. And I was  in a film school one you won't even be able to afford even if you worked for years but then again I forgive your ignorance as I deeply feel your pains. Dealing with a dead career is not really an easy one.
But one advice focus on resurrecting your career and going back to being a movie director rather than living your life hating on celebrities who has made it. It's obvious your beef doesn't pay your bills and you will die a wretched sad old man who  will be remembered for hating on celebrities. Like the famous saying goes.  Have you ever seen a statue erected  In honor of a critic ?NO!
Chika Ike is one of the biggest Nigerian celebrities we have, a U.N ambassador, bullet energy drink ambassador. Refugee ambassador for displaced person just to mention a few. An extremely hardworking one as such and very charitable ,i am sure you are aware of how many lives she has changed with her Chika Ike foundation. Chika Ike is  blessed and no man can take that away. She is 28 and successful and she's sure going to live her life to the fullest so feel free to feed your eyes with more instagram pictures if it pains you then go work harder and be celebrated. Along side other top Nigerian stars that were spotted at the Hennessy Artistry club tour in Abuja last weekend, super eagles coach, Steven Keshi was also in the building to show support to the Hennessy Artistry headliners, 2face and Wizkid.

Steven Keshi who was recently recalled to coach the super eagles again, was highly recognised by the duo (2face and Wizkid) as they gave a huge shout out to the him during their ground-breaking performances.

The visibly exited coach kept saying, ‘Thank you for the love and support, God Bless You’ as his teeming fans present expressed how much they love and respect the coach for bringing the African Cup of Nations home.
